21st Century Fox Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Quite a few on here could take a lesson from Sven on civility, grace and class. :sge:
Dr The Singh Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Quite a few on here could take a lesson from Sven on civility, grace and class. :sge: And pulling pooon!!
dave the caveman Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 The bitterness of a caveman. The denial of a heartbroken teenager.
acooling08 Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Touched in a place that no man should touch me. One of lifes true gentleman. All the best Sven, i'll always remember you. I'd report that if I were you.
nuttytimmy Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Never met the guy but heard tales from those who did (aka my brother, in Austria) who said he was a proper gent. The best manager to ever grace Leicester? Possibly. The most gracious? Definitely. :sge: EDIT: Just realised I need to change my sig...
Bangbangboom Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Such a nice, descent bloke.......I really am sad to see him go! However part of me thinks we might need a bit of a bastard in charge to give us the edge?!
21st Century Fox Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 And pulling pooon!! Sven is a fully certified poon guru.
Guest MattP Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Quite a few on here could take a lesson from Sven on civility, grace and class. :sge: I'd rather learn the art of gaining millions upon millions by going from job to job and not achieving the objective given when you started. I do wish you all the best thought Sven, lovely guy, were a pleasure to speak to the couple of times I met you and you always made time for people which a lot of managers don't, just not good enough unfortunately. You can pick up a decent job after Euro 2012 now.
Thracian Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 There's never been any doubt about Sven's charisma, PR or sense of dignity and this only adds to the proof. Given as few as four things being different he'd still be here and we'd have been near certainties for promotion..
Dan Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Fair play, very creditable thing to say, can't really argue with the decision but that took some doing IMO, best of luck to him.
lcfc_amie Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 I had tears in my eyes reading/hearing this Such a well-mannered guy, and always had time for everybody. He was great the couple of times I met him. We'll miss you Sven, but it's time to move on O'neill anybody?

You can pick up a decent job after Euro 2012 now. but the objective given to him was promotion in 2 years. With 33 games remaining, he may well have achieved it. And you can't achieve promotion after 13 games anyway...
Master Fox Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Such a shame. Good luck Sven. I'll miss you.
liamsm Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Quite a few on here could take a lesson from Sven on civility, grace and class. :sge: Totally agree
cc_star Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 The guy has class & is gracious in getting the boot, although given his experience... Onwards & upwards now though.
artursteppe Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 The verbiage of a conman I'd rather meet him than you.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 What a gentleman . I'm glad he still holds us in high regard.
