Bangbangboom Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 you know nothing you fool. you just say what you think will happen which hardly ever does materialise. Your about as useful as that liam who knows sweet fcuk all. How people think you have inside info is beyond me.
lestajigs Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 ****ing hell and there was me thinking we'd have a manager in for the Leeds game

Your about as useful as that liam who knows sweet fcuk all. How people think you have inside info is beyond me. You don't have to believe what he says if you don't want to. Bert has got it wrong a couple of times he cant be right EVERY time he is human he knows his stuff you dont have read it if you don't want to or comment!

I'd rather have some info coming in from someone that has got somethings right in the past!! Cant be right all the time, and he only passes off information that he is told... If no one gave us any info it would make a very poor forum dont you think??

thybluefox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I've heard similar from someone who is, apparently, ITK. I find it weird that he's issued that statement if the whole saga isn't over yet though. End of the day none of us actually know for sure, and can only say what we're told.
accessory Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 A friend of mine (not ITK) has said that the rumour is on twitter, that compo has yet to be agreed which is why he's distancing himself. Doesn't make sense to me, and why he'd say what he's said too. I'd rather we just got this sorted after the Leeds game now. Too close to the game and as it stands no-one will be in by tomorrow. Really? Then how do you explain this from the Huddersfield website? I want to reiterate that I am 100% committed to the Owner, the fans and the players at Huddersfield Town and I am totally focussed on continuing this magnificent start to the season and getting this Club promoted."I want to put an end to this speculation - I am not interested in the Leicester vacancy. All I am interested in is moving forward with the job at hand at Huddersfield Town.

Five different sources, all supposedly "in the know", assured us earlier today that Clark's move to us was a done deal. It clearly wasn't. This is Nicky Maynard revisited.
dannythefox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Its on SSN now he said he's not interested in the Leicester job and he wants to put the rumours to bed which is fair play to the bloke in my eyes. THE END!
ARM1968 Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Yes - because he was never friggin asked. Whoever it is will be much higher profile and have more experience!
inckley fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 In all fairness, he's been no more wrong than anyone else. I suspect it's more a case of sources letting him down and, in a way, all this makes it more interesting. I wouldn't take anything he says too seriously though. He knew something at some point in time, it just so happens those guys don't know very much at the moment! If you were working on bringing in a 'name' manager and knew it may take a week or so, then you'd try to keep it quiet by throwing out denials and false stories. Take the O'Neill and the Solskjaer rumours - the press would have been all over them had the board let it be known that they were in talks a week ago. They put 'covers' out in politics, economics... it's standard practise. The only thing that worries me with the insiders' 100% wrong record is that Roy Keane, therefore, is still very much on the cards. He definitely flew home after the commentary last night and unlike O'Neill, the papers have all said it could be him. He's a big name, has experience at this level and therefore seems to tick the right boxes for the owners.

This is Nicky Maynard revisited. We're not quite to 100 pages yet. I'd much rather this be sorted sooner rather than later with Hughes tbh, I'll agree the notion of this still having legs is mental given his statement, but just thought I might as well pass on what I'd been told. Ideal world, Hughes announced and then takes charge from Monday. That's pretty doubtfull though.

Acetripper Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Didn't want him anyway...he's err...his um...teeth are too shiny! If you don't go up this season he'll be beaming his nashers all over King Power Stadium next season! Trust me!

This is Nicky Maynard revisited. This. people are claiming to have been told thing, (yet half of them dont say what). covering bases by saying different names, etc. look at that steps post for example, MON has agreed but wants conditions, OGS is next on the list, and there are talking to others just in case neither take it.. mon/ogs dont come then who ever does they can say "see told you".. Even Bert not really helping this time also as keeps dropping one liners in which cant see if hes joking/ trying to cover bases/ not a clue... eg. dont Reid to much into it.... applied for a grant.. etc.. he must have covered bout 7 names in past week but not actually said much on any of them..
Toffee_Fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Clark was never in for the job, said it all along, work at Huddersfield for their rugby league team, pretty common knowledge he was happy here.

Happy Fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Official. He won't be our new manager. We already knew that when he made that statement on their OS.
