I have always had the feeling that MON will take the job, the silence from the owners can only be a good thing and the fact the the media, bookmakers, respected journos in the game are not sure leads me to believe that the deal to bring in MON is very much alive and kicking

I am not convinced by anything yet though, especially Martin O'Neill which I cannot see happening, it just seems nobody has a clue who the next manager will be.

Although we are in a higher division, you have got to take into consideration that Lee Clark is building up a good team at Huddersfield. They are currently at the top end of the table and it is coming together nicely for him. Would he want to chuck all that out the window to gamble with us? Seriously, I'm not fed up of O'Neill's name because it will always be around when we have a vacancy, but more and more people keep saying O'Neill which I would like to believe but can't find it true. Are you guessing, praying, or what? I would welcome his return though.
