Phube Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Because no-one seems to have a clue what is going on... The bookies (usually 'In the know') seemed to have gone mad. Bert has no idea! Receptionists at golf clubs have been abused! The media are going round in circles... and this form has literally hundreds of pages of posts about nothing.... Does this all mean that Top and the team are really, bloody good at keeping cards close to their chests... or do they have not a clue?! All I know is... I want a new manager sometime this season!

Never been clearer the clubs in the hands of a young man with no experience whatsoever of what he is doing. It's a good job his Daddy has a lot of cash.

It's a good job his Daddy has a lot of cash. how do you know they had no idea who they wanted?? they may not have got there 1st.. 2nd choice.. or they may have not been able to carry on with sven also so hadnt even got to thinking about it. people do get fired there and then without planning..

Well if they did they have done a prettty poor job of getting a contract signed. It's been a week, they should of been sounding out who they wanted before Sven was dismissed.

Didn't realise you were privy to what's going on behind the scenes. For all any of us know they could just be being very thorough in finding the right person to take us forward. Remind me how long we took to name Levein's successor - 1 month wasn't it?

(unless they tap people up etc) if it wasnt then a week or so is hardly anything to panic over.. (maybe the plan was always before the leeds game)

Come on Al, clubs have this done before they sack the manager these days. We arent exactly scrapping around either, we have a lot of money to pay someone. The excuses for this charade are running very thin.
