THEFATBASTARD Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Our owners made a fateful decision in sacking Sven when they did. As time passes it looks more and more like a knee jerk reaction and poor move.I feel they may have sabotaged the season, i suppose time will tell. The fact that another week has gone by without a new man means it will be more than a month between the old regime and new manager being of influence on the touchline...mid season that is unacceptable. Are we any nearer a new boss? can anybody say we are? We have to face it, the changeover has been bungled.I wish i knew who was advising the owners cos it seems they don't appear to have a sound strategy. Promotion is disappearing over the horizon at a rate of knotts.
wurmer Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 The fateful decision was sacking NP. Totally agree..
accessory Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 The fateful decision was sacking NP. Except it wasn't a sacking, as Hull took him off our hands. But Mandaric knifing him was a very bad day for our club, which we have still to recover from.
Bugg Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 The fateful decision was sacking NP. Technically we didn't sack him. He walked.
Walkers Pallet Chauffeur Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 How many peeps came on this forum complaining about how we played? No desire, no fitness, wrong formation were just some of the complaints I heard. Hate to say it but it Wud av only been a matter of time.

themotivator Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Right now, mid season, after all the investment, it seems like the sacking of sven is a worse decision than the pushing out of NP (Who did of course leave rather than get sacked).
sdb Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 If anybody thinks the new owners didn't push NP, then I worry for their mental health.
Bugg Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 If anybody thinks the new owners didn't push NP, then I worry for their mental health. I thought he fell out with Hoos and Mandaric?
wurmer Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 If anybody thinks the new owners didn't push NP, then I worry for their mental health. Don't read the MON thread then, delusion is an understatement....
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 I thought he fell out with Hoos and Mandaric? He was as good as forced to move on by MM who wanted a name in place to help him sell the club, hence why we ended up with a great player but complete joke of a manager in charge of the club.
dannythefox Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 The fateful decision was sacking NP. This who the fvck would give you permission to talk to another club were the laughing stock of the championship and its really starting to piss the fans off!
davieG Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Technically we didn't sack him. He walked. Or Sven
Trav Le Bleu Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 We like to get them to jump before we have to push them.
THEFATBASTARD Posted 6 November 2011 Author Posted 6 November 2011 Zippy bungle and geoffrey, look like ruthless professionals compared to our leadership at the moment..
JmorsonLCFC Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 The fateful decision was when kermit decided to be a complete **** in cardiff.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 The fateful decision was sacking NP. I t will be even more fateful, if he is allowed back..
Fox92 Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Are we going to go on about Sven forever? He didn't have a clue. He signed too many midfielders and tried to accomodate them all which didn't work. He didn't sign any wingers which is something we need very much. The team didn't look organised, motivated or determined under Sven.
Guest MattP Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 The fateful decision was sacking NP. Absolutely. For the first time in years we had stability AND were improving and progressing. We deserve what we have had to put up with after.

Did you hear Stowell's interview after the match when asked about teamm selection, he pretty much said we have too many right footed central midfielders and we can't play them all, and we have no options out wide. Maybe he should have mentioned that to Sven when he kept on signing them...

Oh yeah, 'Hi Sven I know that you used to manage the national team, have got a fantastic record as a manager and I am the goalkeeping coach with no managerial experiance. But do you reckon we have too many right footed players?'
