acooling08 Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 I shudder when I see Cardiff on the fixtures, especially away from home. They are becoming a bit of a bogey side for us. As for Ipswich, I reckon we'll win 3-1. Nugent is due a Home goal.
Cropwellfox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Schmeichel Peltier Mills Bamba Konchesky Gallagher Wellens Fernandes Dyer Nugent Beckford 0-2 or 1-1 And an evening of slating the midfield and beckford
MikeyT Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Try a diamond midfield. King behind the front two and Abe just in front of the defence. Kasper Pelts Tunch Mills Konch Abe Fernandes Johnson King Beckford Nugent Subs: Weale, Bamba, Wellens, Shlupp, Gallagher
Poakey Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Have you been down this season? If so why would you put Bamba on the bench?
Happy Fox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 I am looking forward to having my turkey and stuffing sandwich with bread sauce
Fmfox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 I am looking forward to having my turkey and stuffing sandwich with bread sauce  SNAP!
broughtonblue Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Should be a decent atmosphere today, Ipswich fans will play their part, if I remember right, they were starting the Mexican wave last year!
Fmfox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 i hope he plays abe and fernandes for wellens and king
Happy Fox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 If Wellens doesn't start I will be very surprised, such is the inevitability of NP's selection, Wellens, Gallagher, Dyer and King will all start unfortunately.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Tough game today. They are starting to improve (again) No excuses for not putting in a good performance though.. We've had a lot of time off and I think we have a mainly fit squad.. It's time for BOTH Wellens and Beckford to quosh the doubters and to put in good performances.. If they play of course.
beryllind Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Schmeichel Peltier Mills Bamba Konchesky Gallagher Wellens Fernandes Dyer Nugent Beckford 0-2 or 1-1 And an evening of slating the midfield and beckford The best I have seen yet Agree with everything
Corky Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 They were awful defensively at our place last season, doesn't seem that they've improved since. Hope everyone has a good day at the game and looking forward to being back on Saturday.

Fmfox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 It is Monday Corky :xmaslaugh: Think he means the next match which is on saturday vs pompey
Dan Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Kasper Peltier - Mills - Bamba - Konch Gally - Danns - King - Dyer Beckford - Nugent Just not feeling a win today. 1-1.
MikeyT Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 The best I have seen yet Agree with everything That's the same as always except no king!
Happy Fox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 If we do go one nil up lets hope the player's keep pressing the opposition otherwise we will fall short on our asses when Ipswich get the equalizer
lcfcsnow Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 I'm certain that Wellens or King will start, if both continue to start then we've got a problem in the dressing room if Pearson refuses to consider anyone else given our options in center midfield. I'm certain he'll drop Bamba, it'll be Mills/St Ledger today. I wouldn't be surprised we set up 4-5-1 today given our midfield options and lack of firepower.
EnderbyFox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 I'd like to see us return to 4-3-3 for today, King, Fernandes and Danns in the middle. Got a good feeling so gonna go for a 2-1 win (Beckford, Nugent)
Corky Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 It is Monday Corky :xmaslaugh: Can't go today which means Saturday is my next match. Hope to be going on the back of a morale-boosting win
Happy Fox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Can't go today which means Saturday is my next match. Hope to be going on the back of a morale-boosting win Sorry it didn't happen
Happy Fox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Don't worry pal, I half expected not to win. Same it had draw written all over it, cannot see results improving until we get the new blood in, lets hope for a better second half to the season.
