So hard to predict our results lately as the only predictable 'thing' about us is our unpredictability ! Howard musn't start, 2 from Gally,King,Wellens need a rest, lets give Schlupp a bit of a run. Thankyou. 2-2, but probably won't be anywhere near !

I'm going down just to enjoy it as a footy match and let the player's worry about the result  , it is them that will be going if they continue to fail :xmaswink:

Does anybody know how many tickets we have sold for the game yet?

I hear from a mate that the only place he could get 3 tickets in a row in the Kop was in SK4 and there weren't many seats in a row together knocking about in there so I'm assuming it could be a few.

I'd like to see a 4-3-3 similar to NP style, Blackpool away 09/10

Schmeichel

Peltier - Mills - Tunchev - Konchesky

Fernandes - Abe - King

Beckford - Nugent - Schlupp

Subs: Bamba, Howard, Wellens, Dyer, Gallagher.

Them tractor boys are hard to predict, suppose it depends on how many Acres they have to plough in the morning and it's so unfair about their goal keeper....six fingers on each hand has to be an advantage  :xmaslaugh:

Toughest game of the season for me, Ipswich recovering from another horror run! And we are not exactly convincing at the moment, I agree with the 4-3-3 formation change, I would like to see Fernandes back (won't happen), with Nugent wide left and Beckford up top, possibly Dyer on the right, get some pace up top. But I predict that somehow King and Wellens will again be the hub of the team! Still Santa hat and bring it on!!!!!

Nigel Pearson is the most predictable person going.

It will be a 4-4-2.

Kaspar

Peltier

Mills

St Ledger

Konch

Gally

Wellens

King

Dyer

Nuge

Beckford/Howard.

We'll probably either win 2-1 or lose 2-0.

The biggest problem with NP first time round was that I regularly dubbed him "Nigel Predictable".

Since we have this "large squad", you'd have thought he would be less so second time round. I haven't seen anything to suggest otherwise so far. Possibly the January transfer window will alter my view on him and we can make some additions to the squad taking it from "large" to "larger than large". This will, in turn, make "Nigel Predictable" "Nigel not so Predictable" and second time round the opposition hopefully won't suss us out quite as easily.

As things stand, our predictability will see us fall short of the top 6. No question.

His predictability didn't stop up from reaching the top 6 last time.

It became our downfall in the first leg of the play-off semi final.

You sure? Or was it not Fryatt's terrible finishing and Whittingham's crafty 5 yards?

Pearson set us up that day to defend right from the start, AT HOME.

Well we can all reminisce about the if's, but's and maybe's, but fact of the matter is in the first leg we fell short.

I don't want to think about it as it brings back memories of what could have been had we been more adventurous in the 1st game imo.

Question is have we seen anything to date to suggest a more adventurous and unpredictable approach? As I said earlier, the January window will go a long way to answering that question.

It's pathetic that people still bring up the Play-off 1st leg game to help their argument against Pearson.

It was one bloody game, and like others have said, Fryatt missed sitters and Whittingham cheated. It could very easily have been 1-0/2-0 to us.
