Also he's 6ft 2 and a good target man, what we are crying out for. To make this guy stand out even more, he's only 21 so is still young and improving. If Lambert can make the step from League 1, why can't he? Pearson make the move!

I cant see why we don't go for him, I think he is like Cameron Stewart but better and with better potential! Yes he didn't have the best of games against us last monday but that mainly down to Kennedy playing brilliant, however he still looked dangerous when he had the ball. I think it would be a waste even not trying to bid for him before some other clubs like west ham come and poach him

Think he made his allegiance fairly clear!

I know I'm dreaming but I reckon we have a realistic chance with all these? Also these signings depend on selling players!!

We've got a player who can shoot but he's played out wide. We need someone who can unlock a defence with a bit of individualism. I'm not saying Koren isn't a decent player but at 31 he's going to be regressing soon if he's not already. Why the hell would we pay over the odds for that? There are other central midfielders who are better and younger than him.

We need more width, maybe kebe, stewart, mcanuff, brady etc. we also need better central midfielders maybe koren, dorrans etc. But what we do need is PASSION!. Players who want to put the shirt on for the club and for themselves, quality at this level is of course important, but without application from the players you will not see quality. Look at Norwich last year and this year Morison, holt, tierney, fox, surman, ruddy, hoolahan, pilkington, jackson etc. Were all from the championship and below with a point to prove for two reasons. 1) They wanted to play in the higher leagues 2) There wages were low
ithuriel Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Actually we have made a decent few chances but they are always knocked into the box and no one is there to meet them, with wingers we will need a goal poacher, a pen box predator alongside Nugent or whoever else we have. At present we do not have that type of player, last season we had Yakubu who was lazy but still managed to get a nice goals haul.
