bluearmyfox23 Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 ^^ I would want us to sign all of these above also we need 2 strikers, 1) Sharp someone that takes their chances and 2) we need a new target man Steve Howard is not good enough no more and seems to struggle playing 15 minutes!! Also if SSL was to leave we would need a new centre half in Chester or a cheap option in Danny shittu!?
foxfanazer Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Sylvain ebanks blake as back up maybe. Sharp, Stewart and mceachran (unlikely)
dave_the_fox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 I know he's got the body of andy Reid but ex youth lee tomlin seems to have a few tricks and likes to look for the killer pass give us a bit of flair and trickery we lack?
ronnup Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Can Vaz Te play wide? He's got talent, power and pace. Someone will get a lot of quality from him one day.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 I think we need 2 wingers, a good playmaker and centre back
Spiritwalker Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 What about Drinkwater - currently on loan at Barnsley from ManU
Richard Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Tom Cairney? Scored a good goal in the cup, could be interested in reuniting with Pearson?
LCFC_FoRdY Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 James Forrest. 20 year old winger, plays for Celtic. Not given much of a chance but scored a bunch and has bags of potential. Seems a bit like Stewart but could be easier to sign??? 40 odd appearances and 8 goals... http://en.wikipedia....aller_born_1991)
GBLCFC Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 I agree Tom Cairney could be worth an offer. Seems like a good talent.
GBLCFC Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Jame Forrest would be a great signing! I doubt it would happen though as there was rumours that Spurs were interested.
Guppy Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 I would love both Hammill and Ben Marshall. If we wanted any defensive reinforcements, Craig Dawson would be quality but I doubt that'd happen especially if we can't guarantee first team football.
ronnup Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 We really missed out on the Townsend lad from spurs. Exactly what we need.
wakeyfox01 Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 He's lost it every time he's had it and thrown himself over whenever he's challenged. Looks flashy but produces nothing
bluearmyfox23 Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 I heard hoolahan isn't getting much of a look in recently would love him on loan!!
psychonaut Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 WHERE are the centre mids??? Exactly what i've been thinking... Have we been linked to any yet? Dorrans would be awesome but hodgson has vetoed a move to rangers and will not be selling any of his players.
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 We could all dream about the players we would like to come to us... It seems that Hull don't want to sell us anyone. Lambert won't want to leave the Saints.. Billy Sharp may well be premier league bound Etc... We need to look at realistic, young prospects.. I'd like to have a good look at Ched Evans and the Peterborough winger Taylor... Both of whom are playing very well currently, have a point to prove and will only get better.

I agree with looking at young up and coming prospects though... You must have watched the posh v sunderland, Taylor looked very hungry and was a real handful for their defence. I like the look of Ben marshall.. We are in need of a new midfield general too
Fox in the North Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 Just thinking Darren Ambrose maybe a possible replacement for Wellens?
Big Dave Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 Wouldnt set the world on fire, but we could certainly do a lot worse. Can score a few goals as well. Bags of experience at this and a higher level, and I think he has still got a fe years left in him!
bluearmy7 Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 we could do with him would he come he might is he on pearsons radar tho ?
I am Rod Hull Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 Just thinking maybe a possible replacement for Wellens? No one can replace Wellens... or can they...
Bettsy82 Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 what about shaun derry he did a great job for qpr now warnocks left he might be interested good ball winner and plays the holding role superbly well.
