acooling08 Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 I mostly like the oldies like Wizzard 'I wish it could be Christmas every day' and Slade 'So here it is Merry Christmas (title?). Santa baby by Kylie at this time of year puts the lead in my pencil. The all time best Christmas song for me though has to be 'Fairytale of New York' by the Pogues/Kirsty Mccoll. It's the only song I think is worth listening to all year round not just for xmas.
Fox92 Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 This is the third best christmas songs topic My favourite is Step Into Christmas (Elton John). But, I also love I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday, Happy Xmas War Is Over and Wonderful Christmastime because Roy Wood, John Lennon and Paul McCartney are heroes of mine.

foxfanazer Posted 25 December 2016 Posted 25 December 2016 All the classics like Wizard and Slade but Pogues is easily the best. Loving Last Christmas by George Michael this year too, don't know what that says about me?
spacemunky Posted 25 December 2016 Posted 25 December 2016 Always loved that version of Little Drummer Boy by Bowie and Bing that Webbo posted. And of course Fairytale of NY.
