Craig Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 I'm such a mercenary on this game. Started with Colchester, got them promoted, resigned. Moved onto Barnsley for 2 seasons, resigned. Ended up at Wrexham for about half the season, resigned. Now I've ended up at Coventry who are absolute shit, the only player worth playing is JukeBox and he wants out. And guess what I'm going to do at the end of the season, you got it, resign. I did similar to this. I was holding out for a Championship job, but then Cov came along in League one. I got them promoted, handed all the players large new contacts, giving the agents massive signing on fees, then resigned. Reputation enhanced.
Cal Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Wow, just knocked out Hamburg and AC Milan in Euro Cup. Sevilla are next up. Also won the League Cup again and still in the FA Cup, 3rd with 3 games in hand. Zzzzzzz too easy this time round.
DB11 Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Right, how do I do screen-shots? http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm
The Doctor Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 that doesn't work on this year version - did on old ones but now it print screens whatever's open behind FM. Anyway, I found how to do the in-game screenshots (alt+F9). Konchesky was utter turd, completely at fault for both goals. Why then in my game v Watford, when I give the individual team-talks and tell him "I want to see a better performance from you out there today" does it come up as Delighted?
lcfc matt Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 I don't get how most of you find This game easy I was ok on the last game but this I struggle like a trooper I've tried so many formations I just can't find a winning one
Finnegan Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 I don't get how most of you find This game easy I was ok on the last game but this I struggle like a trooper I've tried so many formations I just can't find a winning one I'm a genius which helps.
Salieri Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 I'm finding it ridiculously easy. Cleaned up with Leicester including winning the Community Shield, Super Cup, League Cup, Premier League and Champions League in one season. Unbeaten in the league too. Highlights included beating Man C 5-0 away and Barca 7-0 away!
Finnegan Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Just tried to sign someone, 400k upfront, 6m over 24 months - 500k left of my transfer funds. Says I can't afford it?
lcfc matt Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Can someone offer me a decent formation and training ideas please it's driving me insane
The Doctor Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Might be 24 months is too short a period - I tend to go for 30+ months and I've not had many problems
Simo86 Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Just tried to sign someone, 400k upfront, 6m over 24 months - 500k left of my transfer funds. Says I can't afford it? Try not offering anything upfront and over 48 months

Libertine Dream Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Just tried to sign someone, 400k upfront, 6m over 24 months - 500k left of my transfer funds. Says I can't afford it? I think it divides the fee over time by the amount of years, so it will take 3.4mil away from your transfer budget.I think that's how it works. Does anybody have the badges and kits that can be put on mid-game, it really bugs me? Also any decent skins to make it look better? I'm finding it ridiculously easy. Cleaned up with Leicester including winning the Community Shield, Super Cup, League Cup, Premier League and Champions League in one season. Unbeaten in the league too. Highlights included beating Man C 5-0 away and Barca 7-0 away! How many times did you quit/cheat to re-do a game?
Salieri Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 How many cheats did you use? Never used a cheat in my life mate, on any game. Pure skill.
DB11 Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Just tried to sign someone, 400k upfront, 6m over 24 months - 500k left of my transfer funds. Says I can't afford it? You'd need 3.4m left of your transfer funds to afford it, 6/24 = 3/12 and you need to be able to afford what it says for the first year.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Can someone offer me a decent formation and training ideas please it's driving me insane 4-3-2-1 Standard back 4, 3 CM the middle one support the other 2 automatic. 2 Wingers both attacking. and an advanced forward attacking. Was struggling at the start of my first season in the first 10 games was sitting 16th. Then ended up finishing 10th, beat Liverpool and Chelsea as well. Did lose to Man U 8-1 after being 1 nil up after 20 minutes.
Salieri Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Just to clarify....the Leicester team that achieved all that was about 7 or 8 seasons into the game, my team largely consisting of 'made up' players. If you have anything about you and are patient and thorough with your scouting you can pick up young players relatively cheap who turn out to be 'world class' players. I don't put too much time and effort into training and the like, ability in the transfer market is key to success in this game and its predecessors.
Salieri Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 How many times did you quit/cheat to re-do a game? I honestly wouldn't bother, where's the fun in that?

I'm the same like to pick up players that are young and slowly expose them to first team football. Then when there good enough start playing them more regularly.
leicester4life Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Rivaldo in the Championship team of the week for City, living the dream.

Then when there good enough start playing them more regularly. I normally mix promising regens with Man City rejects (Fellaini, Silva, Balotelli, Nasri all transfer listed). I always end up as a feeder team to the top 4, as soon as one of them comes in then they all want to go so I have to go find another gem to replace them
Dan Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 I wish Juventus would fvck off, I've lost 4 home games in nearly 3 years in the league with Napoli and they've won here every single time, jesus christ.
