FoxesFan100 Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Just a quick question, but what is Khouma Babacar like on this game? Is he still the world beater like he was on Fm11?
Finnegan Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Just a quick question, but what is Khouma Babacar like on this game? Is he still the world beater like he was on Fm11? No. He's a little weak, to be honest. I need to work out screenshots so I can show you my St. Pauli Fierro.
FoxesFan100 Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Thanks for the reply, i was hoping for him being awesome. St. Pauli Fierro. Who?? I take it that there are some more quality young players, its all about tying them down to long term contracts for pea-nuts .
Finnegan Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Carlos Fierro, I have him at St. Pauli. Forgive the grammar. I'm struggling to take screenshots with FM12, I'm not very good at Steam but I'll try and show you how good he is at 19 on my save. His starting stats are a little underwhelming but he has insane potential and will develop very, very quickly if you give him top flight football experience. In lieu of my own screenshots here are a couple from some other people's games on forums: I would suggest that Olympiakos player is pretty poor at developing young players / using coaches and training schedules. That's some poor development, imo. On my St. Pauli game he's fully capped already with 17 odd finishing and 16 / 16 Pa / Ac, worth about 7.5m.
Cal Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Okay, finished my 2nd season with Leicester. Won League cup again, EURO cup, finished 3 points behind Man Utd. Been offered Chelsea, Man Utd, Spurs, Aston Villa and Everton jobs all declined . I cant believe how easy ive found this version, I guarentee il balls up this season though..
Stadt Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 How do you download the logo's, I've looked online and I can't make any sense of it .
Ozwin Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Nainggolan and Corchia are my personal favourites on this years game. Powerhouses.
AjcW Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Does Messi ever want to leave barca or has anyone ever managed to get him to? I just had a 30 mill bid accepted(he's only 28 as well) but its the usual story of not being interested
Brainy Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Tidy little game going with Rochdale atm. Lose opening game to Tranmere, then go and beat Sheff Wed away in the LC, Sheff Utd at home, Charlton at home and Everton at home in the 2nd round. 2-2 draw at Exeter also involved in there
Dan Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 FINALLY WON THE SERIE FVCKING A. About pissing time, but I tell you what we didn't half strike lucky. We were on 78 points from 36 games, AC Milan on 77, Juventus on 77. Juventus played Atalanta, and drew 0-0. Leaving me very confident. We had Torino at home (irony as they are Juve's rivals, and Atalanta are ours) and AC Milan hosted midtable Catania. We dominated early and went 2 up, but the longer it went on the shitter we got, and our revenge for the shock 6-0 didn't rectify things, it actually questionned the "shock 6-0", we drew 2-2 and were lucky to even do that, we were abysmal. However, AC Milan were beaten by Catania 0-2, I could not believe it. So into the final day, despite our dreadful result/performance we actually sat in an even better position than before, although only marginally. We went away to Cagliari (They have us down as main rivals) and Juventus went to last weeks heroes Catania, whilst Milan travelled to 17th placed Cesena. We were 1 down after 36 seconds, absolutely pathetic. Two late first half goals from Hamsik and Cavani gave us the lead, brilliant. I decided to bring on Blasi for Hamsik and hold on to the 1-2, two minutes later, they whip a 35 yard free kick in, absolute joke. We fail to break them down and another shocking 2-2 draw means we've surely blown it. Catania 1-0 Juventus Cesena 1-0 AC Milan Absolutely unbelievable. Unfashionable as fvck but I'm not arsed, Inter can fvck off 7 titles on the spin, and they finish in all places 7th, they were dreadful. Nice to see Juventus can beat us 9-0 and still lose out on the title. Next season I don't expect huge changes. Sirigu, Jones, Ruiz and Digne will remain in my back 5 as they're all progressing, I need a right back though as Maggio's fvcked off to Valencia for free, and Zuniga is average, although he does play above himself. Got Lorenzo Di Silvestri on my wish list. The midfield two are fine, Sissoko and Annan, although Blasi's ageing but to be fair he never lets me down. Tempted to sign a new winger, Gotze's fvcking crap, I might sell him. Hamsik had another good year but I'm about to get Pjanic for £35k a week on a free from Lyon. He's literally in the top 5 midfielders on the game, you could not pass up the chance to sign him. Throwing him into the team is a tough one though, ahead of who? Might just rotate. Jose Sosa had another assist a game season, he's absolutely phenomenal, how on earth has no-one gone in for him yet. Cavani remains up front, he's far too good, 25 in 30 this year plus a load of assists, 7.66 average, too good.
DJMadness29 Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Just ordered this off play. I'm hoping A) my laptop can play it, and B) it lives up to the hype people have given it. First time I've ever bought one although have borrowed some but dont usually do very well.
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 For anyone that wants 2 great Championship players for reasonably cheap get ..... Anthony Gerrard (cb) - still fairly young think hes about 25, very disciplined, great defensivley got an average rating of about 7.28, scored 12 goals too! Danny Haynes (st) - still fairly young about 24 years old, scored goals for fun scored 25 in 32 finished the season as top goal scorer!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 In my third season with City and the board had to put in 4mil of there own money to keep me out of recievership. I'm paying just under the wage budget and still have 950k transfer budget. Bit worried there going to start selling my players on me.

Think you're set up as having an underwriter or maybe even a sugar daddy. Leicester is basically easy mode on this, they'll just keep shoving cash in most likely.

Slowly building a decent young squad, finding it hard to sell off players that i don't play anymore on decent wages, Nugent, Konchesky, Pantsill, Danns, Gallagher, (About 100k worth of wages a week there) and i can't even get people to take them on a free.

Haynes is a very good player, when I was Barnsley he got over a goal a game but it was a net game and it tailed off. Gerrard seems average IMO - honestly centre halves are piss easy on this game. Any with half-decent stats can get 7.28 purely because you can stick them attacking the near post at corners and having a good corner taker to hit them near post. Seriously it's so easy to score, I can't remember the last year I didn't get 10+ goals from a centre half. Gerrard's probably half decent but most centre halves who you stick on the near post get ratings like that.

munf1987 Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 You need to get hold of a programme like hamachi. This will allow you to create or join a network with a friend. Then go onto FM and set up a network game or join. You might need to search for the ip address within fm if it doesn't appear. Hope this helps but without my laptop i cant explain properly. First things first though just download Hamachi, if you get stuck im sure someone else will step in to help

Samilktray Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Is the iPhone version worth getting? Havent got enough space on my laptop to get it on here
munf1987 Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 I've downloaded hamachi and weve tried every possible ip address that appears but it always says unable to join ? have you gone into the network options. I'm sure there was something in there that had to be selected on the older fm's havent play this years on the network yet
DB11 Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 I've downloaded hamachi and weve tried every possible ip address that appears but it always says unable to join ? You have to join each other and be in the same Hamachi network, and then you can start a 'local' game on FM as you'll be playing over the same network (both joined to the same IP on Hamachi)
