Jace Posted 31 December 2011 Author Posted 31 December 2011 You've spelt Leicester wrong. The spelling. I thought we were missing something in the middle?
fosseman Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 They give the impression of not being bothered. Is that due to low morale or a couldn't care less attitude?
purpleronnie Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Barnsley 4-0 Leeds :xmaslaugh: Well it could be worse I guess, but leeds are above us in the table.
milnerfc Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Abe had a good game, he broke the play down well, made good tackles, he played simple passes an kept possesion and actually looked liked he wanted get stuck in and fight for the team!!
AoWW Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 I thought we were missing something in the middle? Yeah, we got the joke the first time you posted it. Problem is if someone hasn't seen that it makes this thread look a tad retarded!
New England Fox Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 That's 3 home game against Peterbro, Ipswich and Pompey, all teams in the bottom half and not one win from any of them, any way you look at it that's just diabolical. You can attempt to pick out individuals if you choose. Say this player did a little better than than that player but the fact is no one looked like they gave a fook today. At one point midway through the 2nd half Konch was taking a throw in from the halfway line. Took him about 30 seconds because he had no one to throw it too, no one moving, trying to give him an option, nothing! All just standing around looking bored. Sums it up really.
Jace Posted 31 December 2011 Author Posted 31 December 2011 Yeah, we got the joke the first time you posted it. Problem is if someone hasn't seen that it makes this thread look a tad retarded! I am really sorry
AoWW Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 I am really sorry It's ok, I'm in a forgiving mood.
i luv u foxes Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 shemichael- missed two catches which was worrying peltier- looked good going forward but that was rare and defensivley out of position at times bamba- wasnt great but didnt do much wrong but there doesnt seem to be a connection between him and mills mills- same as bamba konchesky- started well and looked miles better than anybody on pitch for football abililty for first ten minutes and after that it went all wrong and had a shocker king- didnt realise he was playing did nothing actually nothing wellens- tried and failed too slow terrible over the top passes which never near nugent abe - horrendous easily pushed off ball passing was awful gave away possesion far too easily nugent our best player today always looking to get in behind and get on end of something but just isnt getting the service shclupp- started lively but died out of game didnt get enough off balll gallacher- apart from set peices didnt do much for me but set peices where good beckford looked dangerous should be starting danns lots of energy not much else though dyer didnt really see enough of him fernandes needs to be in the team over abe cant see why pearson isnt playing him personally i think we looked miles better under sven than pearson we looked better in defence and in possesion
acooling08 Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 We just seem to have nothing at all in terms of creativity from the midfield. We create so few chances that it's virtually impossible to win games. PS. Beckford is shit. PPS to above poster, Abe was our MOTM.
tylesta Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Gallagher was this man signed from a ballerina? going up for headers he is 5 yards from the challenger and going in for tackles one of these days he is going get a very serious injury from the tackles he backs out of like a fiary, fair play his delivery is good 50% of the time but he needs to go need a more all round kind of player, as for people saying playing behind the strikers??? that is a tough role to play and it wouldn't work with the way we play. the formation today looked out of place the back LINE was there ever a line??? was woefull the amount of times konch and pelts were caught out of postion was unreal. not one player on that pitch shown me today he wants to wear the shirt no heart, no passion and utterly crap the only passion shown was nugent and thats when he scored!! We just seem to have nothing at all in terms of creativity from the midfield. We create so few chances that it's virtually impossible to win games. PS. Beckford is shit. looked the most dangerous player when he came on?
The Doctor Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 New formation but the same old rubbish. Kasper looked far more shaky than usual and Peltier's positioning is terrible. Mills keeps getting turned too easily and dominated in the air while alongside him Bamba was very, very lucky at times today. King - I have oft reputed the claims that he's anonymous on the pitch but today, terrible - so peripheral. Wellens - Better than on Monday but it's akin to saying gonorrhoea is better than HIV - maybe so but no-one with sense would want either. Schlupp looked promising at times but got **** all from the ref - how was Mattock not sent off for that tackle, despite what the ref said he got nowhere near the ball. Gallagher - Good deliveries but not much else. Abe - Very good, carrying the midfield for large parts today Konchesky - Gets forward well but there is absolutely no support for him at all. Nugent - typical performance, ran into the ground and got a few bits but no help from anyone around him. On the plus, Beckford looked better when he came on and for once looked quite interested. Oh, and that ref is by far the worst I have ever seen - constant, terrible challenges going unpunished, soft free-kicks given against us and denied a stone-wall penalty.
Jace Posted 31 December 2011 Author Posted 31 December 2011 It's ok, I'm in a forgiving mood. Shame it wont let me edit this title! now the fans are as much of a laughing stock as the team!! whoahahaha
MrSpaM Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 I'm amazed at the people ringing in to the phone in giving Yuki stick, he looked our best player today!

Guest parky0607 Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 positives from the optimistic bus: Abe was quality and proved he deserved his chance Schlupp looked promising and put in a decent shift Gallaghers set pieces were outstanding
AoWW Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Would you really want him back? He was quite fit.
seenitall Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Pearson will hopefully have been able to work a couple of things out from this game - Abe is worth playing, Wellens only really hoofs the ball when he gets it and has no pace (twice bundled off the ball while running too slowly) King looked better without Wellens, Beckford is actually better than Schlupp and looked really up fro it when he came on, having no defenders on the bench is a risky strategy and because we didn't start with a midfield with any strength or attacking capabilities, too much pressure was invited onto the defence - other than that, he is on the right track (!!!!)
ScouseFox Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Konchesky and Abe were good. Nuge, Bamba and Schlupp were decent at times. Pelts, Gally were average. King, Wellens and Mills were worse than shit. Fcuk them.
