Ric Flair Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Is he still out with a broken ankle? If not, I can see him being thrown in for tomorrow or Howard at centre half. Haha!
MikeyT Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Bamba gone, Paintsil gone, St. Ledger going bye bye and Liam Moore is cup tied. Thin at the back for tomorrow. Pelts, Tunch, Mills, Konch with Kennedy and possible Abe being able to play there if needs be. Parkes..where are you?!!!!
Fox92 Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 I wouldn't put it past Nigel to throw a younger player in again. I know Abe is ok at right back, Peltier can play all over defence, and then there is Tunchev for potential cover but is his knee ok? You never know with Tunchev, although he is a good centre half to come in.
Captain... Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 I've heard Taft being mentioned, also I think it would be nice to see Berner get a run out before he goes, although that would be better at home, maybe in the next round...
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Well Howard wont be in at CB as he is suspended. Interesting to see the line up though.
Captain... Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 George Taft is in the squad tomorrow. Anyone else interesting, in the squad, I can't find any news about it on the OS or BBC,
scousefox4 Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Taft played for England u18 under 19 & went to the under 20 world cup in the summer in Columbia in 2011 , massive potential
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Though I'm not adverse to giving the young lads a go, it's pretty strange to be honest that we should reach this stage of the season, money and all, even suggesting that we may need to consider George Taft and Tom Parkes for an important FA cup fixture against the Florists! Maybe pie in the sky but, knowing we had cash on the hip, I was dreaming about having a decent FA cup run this year! Hope it don't come to an abrupt end against that shower of shite tomorrow..

It could be worse at least Mills is not serving one of his many suspensions

It depends if you view it as an important fixture or not, Forest have already made comments that the league is much more important than the cup, if this was a league match I'm sure the likes of Peltier Konchesky Wellens Gallagher and Nugent would all be in the team, as it is it is a cup game after a busy period and a number of players carrying knocks, it is the perfect time to give some of the youngsters a run out. Just cos it is against Forest doesn't make it any more than just a 3rd round cup tie. Perfect chance for Tunch Schlupp Moussa and others to get a run out and push for a starting place. The league is our priority a cup run would be nice as long as it is not a distraction.
Tielemans63 Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Taft played for England u18 under 19 & went to the under 20 world cup in the summer in Columbia in 2011 , massive potential I hope you're right but he didn't show it when on loan at Kettering. Great in the air but shocking distribution. And I mean shocking! Hope he proves me wrong.
acooling08 Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Abe - Mills - Tunchev - Kennedy Why play Abe in defence?? Especially when he's been doing well in the midfield and we have either Peltier or Konch to play there.
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 George Taft is in the squad tomorrow. Good, bring on the youngsters
FoxesFan123 Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Next seasons defence: Moore - Parkes - Bolger - Taft
