BarnsleyFan Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 Is there any fast foods (KFC, Burger kins ect) around ground? Thanks.
jprs1976 Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 there is burger vans, but not kfc, burger king etc, but there is a pub just up the road, local hero or counting house and morrisons if you are after food
city1993 Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 Not really. We have Nando's and a couple of food pubs across the road from Filbert Way (street that leads you into the ground). You could grab something in town as it's not a million miles away, but near the ground we don't have much to offer unless you like looking at student accommodation and hotels? Sorry if that's no help, good luck on Saturday. That last bit was a lie I want Leicester to win
Fox92 Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 You are visiting the King Power Stafium, not Glanford Park
BarnsleyFan Posted 11 January 2012 Author Posted 11 January 2012 eheh, Have you lot signed or close to signing billy sharp then? Might head to Nando's then.
wellyfox Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 eheh, Have you lot signed or close to signing billy sharp then? Ashley Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 There's a TJs and fish & chip shop over the road from tigers ground. Not sure about Sharp but its disgusting what a minority of your fans where singing about him a few weeks back. All the best for saturday
MrFox781 Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 Town aint the longest walk away. theres a few fast food shops around.
Guest MattP Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 Have some food in one of the pubs on the way to the ground. The burger vans round the ground are awful, pure cancer in a cob.
m00nie Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 if your coming in on train you will get off at the town and theres all the above.. all depends how your getting here
BarnsleyFan Posted 11 January 2012 Author Posted 11 January 2012 Ashley, there wasn't any singing done about Billy. Billy said he NEVER heard any songs. Anyway. How long a walk is this nandos?
Webbo Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 Ashley, there wasn't any singing done about Billy. Billy said he NEVER heard any songs. Anyway. How long a walk is this nandos? 3/4 minutes walk away. The chip shop across the road isn't bad either.
Christoph Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 About a 10 minute walk from the ground is narborough road which has more than enough crap to eat.
wellyfox Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 Ashley, there wasn't any singing done about Billy. Billy said he NEVER heard any songs. Anyway. How long a walk is this nandos? Read somewhere it was one young fan who was told to shut it. There was complaints and some Tykes where helping the police. Hope they get the scum bag banter is one thing that is just sick.
Magictv Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 Decent chippy near the ground on aylestone road, think it's called "leicester city"
Kitchandro Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 There's a TJs and fish & chip shop over the road from tigers ground. Not sure about Sharp but its disgusting what a minority of your fans where singing about him a few weeks back. All the best for saturday
Houdini Logic Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 I swear over the last few weeks my life seems to be preoccupied with trying to stop myself sending out links to lmgtfy.com
bluearmy7 Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 if you come off the m1 at j 21 go to the big roundabout wiasda in front of ya turn left and theres a kfc about a mile on the left near set of traf lights wouldn't show ya colours tho
Two_Pints_of_Lager Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 If your coming br car M1 jnc 21A as you come up Narborough Rd there's a KFC on the left abot 3 miles from M1
lestajigs Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 Or There is a kfc and burger king, at the last services before you leave the m1, Leicester forest east services it's called
broughtonblue Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 If you coming by car, fosse park shopping centre is next to the motorway. It has a food court with various outlets and a mcdonalds with a drive through
flowwolf Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 Why not bring a steaming hot flask of Whippet stew with you.
Hollism Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 If you're driving or getting the train then Town is full of every fast food place you can imagine, and Narborough road has Maryland chicken, kebab shops, chippies, etc, as mentioned above. Since you're asking for around the ground though I'm guessing you're coming on a coach straight to the KP? Then Nando's would probably be the best option if you're not a fan of burger vans. It's take a long time to walk to Narborough road, get some food, and walk back again particularly if you don't know where your going. Enjoy your peri-peri
