1964FOX Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Agree the saying is "A bad workman always blames his tools". And in fairness Nigel has quite a few "tools" he could blame.

Happy Fox Posted 15 January 2012 Author Posted 15 January 2012 Remember when we played Real Madrid for a pre season friendly isn't that what the owners still want a big name image? I could be wrong
cc_star Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Let us keep it simple. Sven was sacked, twe points off the play offs. Pearson has now dragged us sven points adrift in no time at all. SACK HIM NOW. Sven wasn't sacked for being 2 points off the play-offs, but for gaining 35 pts from his last 81, it was ongoing performance which wasn't at the required level, despite outspending the whole division probably added together. There appeared to be something else afoot too at that Millwall game which seemed to indicate the dressing room had been lost or something behind the scenes which added to the woeful points haul. Are things better, no, they're a bit worse but it isn't the disaster it looks, We've dropped only 3 pts on the top 2 during the Pearson's tenure-ship so whilst we've been dire we're in touch, with it all to play for Last season Sven put a run together which momentarily put us in contention with the top2, obviously it all went wrong when Sven dropped Mee for Bruma, then dropped Vitor for Bruma, messed Weale around instead of giving him confidence with two sub-standard replacements and it went wrong as our winning run only lasted 5 games or so and we faded as other teams like (Pearson's) Hull, Burnley had better runs, and Reading won about 9 games and got in the playoffs If Pearson was to be forced out, I don't even think we'd be able to attract an out of work manager, we've been a laughing stock since the summer but a change of management again would finish us off for 5+ years
Corky Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Winning the FA Cup would please me for the season. Anything less and it's a failure.
cc_star Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Remember when we played Real Madrid for a pre season friendly isn't that what the owners still want a big name image? I could be wrong Yeah, but that showbiz didn't work QPR were moneybags, even more so than us, but they didn't do what we did... they had a manager who knows you have to build a team Norwich & Swansea another example of building a team, forming partnerships in key positions & not just throwing good players in a pot & hoping it works If all the owners want is Hollywood style management, a big friendly & a big name to sell some shirts in their duty free shops I don't see what chance we've got of building anything.
Callabinho Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Winning the FA Cup would please me for the season. Anything less and it's a failure. Anything less than promotion is a failure, considering how much money was spent in 2011!
darko2k7 Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Man i really hope we win on Tuesday as I don't think I could cope with all these negative threads again till soton on the Monday
Kibworth Fox Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Your a tit. If your not happy piss off. Nigel needs our support, the team needs our support. No doubt the Leicester MOCKery will print this deluded garbage, that's why I no longer read it.
iamafox Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 We don't need these useless Thai owners anymore, they can keep promising us Premier League football as much as they like, but it's not going to happen whilst they're still around. The last thing that I want them to do is to sack Nigel. The sooner they go, the better.
Leicester Rule! Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 I hope that the owners don't read this, if they see this as us turning against them, then everything will come crashing down, and very fast. We simply cannot afford to loose Top and co, because if we do, it could well be the end of Leicester City football club as we know it. Would it be the end of Leicester City FC as we know it? This football club has already changed, and I don't see it as the same football club that it was 5 or 6 years ago pre Mandaric and the investment. I do agree though, if they leave, we could be in a financially disasterous situation.
Kitchandro Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 I read half of it. I didn't deserve to be read to the end. Chris Forryan, you're a moron.

Langston Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 I can't grasp what that letter is trying to achieve.
Leicester Rule! Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Who do you think will be willing to take on our debts and the losses of £10m+/season? An Administrator?
iamafox Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Who do you think will be willing to take on our debts and the losses of £10m+/season? Someone who doesn't know **** all about football, and especially our club, unlike the current owners.
Legend_in_blue Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Using the whole Gelson Fernandes saga is a nonsense when complaining about the current state of the squad. A radio caller did the same after the game on Saturday. Total nonsense. He didn't want to be here when Sven left and yet the fans go on about him being chucked out by NP. Just let it go!
Ultra Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Someone who doesn't know **** all about football, and especially our club, unlike the current owners. That's not an answer. There's no magic wand out there. At the moment we're nowhere near a promotion side. Barring Schmeichel (who will probably move to a Premier club in the summer) I can't think of anyone in the current shambles of a side who would even form the nucleus of a promotion squad. We will be paying a price of Sven's mismanagement for years to come and more likely to leave this division in a downwards rather than upwards direction. Is there any club in the country who have been so consistently ill-run as us during the past decade?
iamafox Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Is there any club in the country who have been so consistently ill-run as us during the past decade? Perhaps teams that have been relegated to League 1 like we have? (Leeds, Southampton, Forest, etc.)
oldfox1 Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 why as this letter been taken from mercury web page ???????????/
flowwolf Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 I feel that your letter is just a miss mash of stating the bleeding obvious. While constructive criticism can be a good thing You do not offer any advice or alternatives , so i see no point in it at all.

You don't know why Sven was sacked and if the reason was in fact a 1.18 points to game ratio (rather than the 1.72 ratio from early Jan to end of season or the 1.46 for this season) then I would suggest Nige will be shitting his pants with his current 1.3 since he took over. Sven was sacked because Top and Papa panicked - lets hope they give Nige time to turn it around and don't screw up again

ousefox Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 God some of our fans are twats, this letter will achieve **** all. Wish people would stop moaning and let NP do his job. He will make sure we sign the right players by the end of the month and hopefully get rid of a lot of the shite Sven brought in. There is not a manager i would trust more with this job and i'm sure we will improve immensely after this window, and even if it is too late, a summer with Pearson and loads of money will do us fine.
