Guest Bilo Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Right now? Yes. Although he's no long term answer. I'd happily have anyone at the minute though. As you saw, we're awful and don't have a clue how to attack apart from flinging balls into the box. SC doesn't play Majewski for whatever reason despite him being able to pick the killer ball, and retain possession and being one of the most technically gifted players at the club. The pompey fans warned us SC has his favourites and will pick them regardless of form (Tudgay and McGugan have been consistently shit yet still start every league game). A big problem at Forest is the players. Apparently this time some of them are disgruntled that Doughty broke the wage structure for McClarens signings so have taken their metaphorical ball home. As an example, we have a forward who nobody will pass to! It's beyond pathetic. Like Van Hooijdonk only much, much worse then.

Its going to sound crazy and you will probably shoot me down in flames but i really think you should stick with Cotterill as i think he will turn it around eventually
RedHux Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 The thing with PVH was he didn't need anyone to pass to him to score. Also, he went on strike as our then owners dismantled the team that got promoted and fled with the cash. All this other striker's done is accept a large contract. Anyway, there appears to be things afoot at the city ground tonight but unfortunately, nobody is walking away from their job.

EDIT: Just seen - Sean O'Driscoll as first team coach. Wow. Didn't see that coming.
Corky Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 That game has to be a watershed for you boys. It can't get much worse than losing 4-0 to a desperately out-of-form side with a similar amount of wins in the last seven or eight games. Well, actually, maybe losing at home to Derby was worse
ScouseFox Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Sean O'Driscoll going into Forest's staff. Decent for them. Might finish above Coventry now.
Charl91 Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Makes for amusing reading. http://www.forestfan...-replay-thread/ Haha, made for funny reading. The best one was Its this (and other reasons) as to why I expressed the opinion that games against leicester dont matter to me any more than any other.......because they tear the arse out of every little thing and try too hard to be rivals with us. For me, it aint ****ing happening on any level and they can think they are barcelona all they like. Its shit like that that makes it very easy for me not to be arsed with them because they are a ****ing joke saying shit like that and hard to take seriously. Thus reinforcing the belief in my mind that they are not our rivals, they are something to laugh at, as has always been the case in my household.Someone on the "are we rivals with leicester" thread (or whatever it was called) made the argument that they couldnt bear the thought of leicester coming to ours, turning us over, and outsinging us and thats what makes them our rivals........to that I would say I couldnt bear the thought of any team doing that, so if thats the criteria, we are rivals with every club in the championship. Or not, as the case appears to be, we cant even live on the same ****ing pitch as most of these teams right now. **** leicester. He hates Leicester alot for someone who doesn't care
RedHux Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Yea! bit out of left field, and now all we need do is shove Cotteril out on gardening leave, move So'D up and i'm happy. I wanted O'Driscolll when McClaren left so this is a good thing....I think...probably.
Corky Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Yeah, we think we're like Barcelona. That's right.
z-layrex Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Haha, made for funny reading. The best one was He hates Leicester alot for someone who doesn't care Haha none of them care. They care far more about beating us than Derby, but you'll never get one to admit it.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Shit in the league, who gives a fcuk, Jermaine Beckford, he's good in the cup... Love that!
Raj Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 It dont happen very often(i dont mean Beckford scoring!) but id like to give some praise to Mr RedHux. Even tho he may be Nottm Facist scum he seems a decent poster and its nice to have some decent oppostion posters(like Lamby -Charlton i think!!!)
