Babylon Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Beckford not feeling to well That's what running for 80 minutes does for you
Guest shearfox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Fantastic tonight, Beckford just looked a class above tonight fantastic and I'm hoping this is the turning point.
trabuch Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Think it just got to Beckford at the end. He looked really happy when he came off - I think he just got emotional.. relief maybe.
cc_star Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Beckford, Wellens & Danns were brilliant The movement by everyone really helped our passing game & we had the desire to make the most of it TEAMwork
Matt Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Haha Danns sounds like Jasper Carrott! Scouse and Brummy accents...Identical.

tylesta Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 neil danns omg didn't seem to stop running and niggling at the forest midfield confident on the ball and unlucky not to score!!! excellent, beckford wooooooooow worked hard chased down and looked dangerous second goal thats the beckford from the past, hat trick goal....showed hunger. st ledger great shift hope he re tracts his transfer request as i thought he was awesome tonight. nugent what a player he is grafted well and looked dangerous unsung hero. everyone played well tonight kept the football well and on the counter looked dangerous gallagher play like that every week and ill eat my words
Karljohn Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 60 odd consecutive home games and tonight I miss the match, self imposed ban after Saturday and a refusal to pay twice to watch Forest, Forest sounded awful but still have to put them away, well done boys.
Narborough_fox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Brillaint, it was like watch Barca but we were better. Great short, quick passing. Formation worked well and there was some proper passion on show. Jermaine Beckford, I always believed!
dayday Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 I guess there was a lot of soul searching in the dressing room after the Barnsley game.....and that is the sort of reaction we were all hoping for..onwards and upwards
FoxTrott Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Nice to see the old Wellens back. Really nice.
kylecoare Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 well Pearson out, we are worst team in the league, in fact we are worse than that, we would get beat by a bunch of girlscouts!!!! oh look, i was right on saturday, and got slagged off cos yyou lot were all angry, but hey thats how we can play, and ive seen it in our team for weeks, if not months
mrmagoomc4 Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 fantastic win cmon boys , forrest your going down you were shite
FrankieADZ Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 great performance tonight....now lets continue this into the league. Now...Everyone to Nando's...tho I'm not paying
Webbo Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Superb, not a bad player for us tonight (Well maybe Schemiechel was a bit dodgy in the first half hour) . Beckford was really, really sharp tonight.
nuttytimmy Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Wonderful stuff and a wonderful result. Just a shame it wasn't a league game, eh? Conclusions.
Guest bennytwohats Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 well Pearson out, we are worst team in the league, in fact we are worse than that, we would get beat by a bunch of girlscouts!!!! oh look, i was right on saturday, and got slagged off cos yyou lot were all angry, but hey thats how we can play, and ive seen it in our team for weeks, if not months at thinking our performance tonight has been anything like recent weeks. Tonight was a great result, and much needed, but let;s not get it twisted and make out that we've not been ****ing shit lately.
Nick Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 From Forest forum on their manager: 'He is to football management what Beverly Allitt was to childcare' http://www.forest.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=19730&posts=217
ScouseFox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Kasper was rarely troubled by anything (bar that sensational miss). The fact he wasn't shows how our defence absolutely bossed their, albeit completely ****ing hopeless, attack. Our back line was so strong, they got past it a few times but every single time found themselves offside. Konch and Pelts offered a lot going forward as well, with Pelts getting a great assist for the second. In the middle Danns properly killed it. Here, there, here again, there again, every fcuking where. And he never gave the ball away. Played a part in the second superb goal and could've had one himself. Wellens was the Wellens we want to see, picking out passes, getting involved, lovely ball for Beckford's third. Gally and Dyer were Gally and Dyer but good. Gally caused no end of problems with his delivery, and although wasn't massively involved in open play, wasn't shit like he usually has been. Dyer faded but again, bagged an assist and was a threat first half. Up top, there was no way they were handling Becks and Nuge. Can't say much else about Beckford other than he did everything right and was outstanding. Nugent, although didn't get a goal to show for his efforts, was typical Nuge. I am very happy right now. Oh and Forest are ****ing ****ing ****ing bad.
cc_star Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Nice to see the old Wellens back. Really nice. everyone want the ball, lots of movement off the ball from everyone meant he always had a simple pass open to him, just like the past couple of seasons because confidence has been low people have been happy to stand marked leading him to try his hollywood passing which fails If the team can continue to play as a team like that again, he'll do well, if we slip back into bad habits he'll look bad
The Doctor Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Jesus fvcking christ. Got some weird looks down the pub when I was doubled up laughing after Beckford's 3rd. Stunning performance, but it would appear Forest are absolutely woeful - I wouldn't get too carried away.
lcfcadam Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Scouse and Brummy accents...Identical. Clearly his time at Birmingham City had the most impact on his voice...
Captain... Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Great result, a much improved preformance, but we still made the same mistakes we have made all season, we still give the ball away too easily it just wasn't so noticeable because Forest gave it straight back to us. We got caught out down the flanks a couple of times and should have conceded twice. Hopefully we can take this confidence into the Southampton match, but we still have a long way to go before we are ready to think we can challenge for anything this season.
