Storming Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 What a great night we were in P1 and it was great standing for 90mins was like being back at Filbert Street 4-0 and every player put in a full shift lets hope we can keep this up and put a string of wins together and get up to the play offs :chant: :chant:
RedHux Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Yea, I did say. Anyone even vaguely competent has looked like scoring 4 past us recently. I felt sorry for Moussi, he looks like he cares. Him and Gunter are the one's I'd be gutted to lose. The rest can take their great skills and attitude elsewhere. The thing with SC is, he has not shown us any glimpse of promise. Not even the smallest hint that the squad want to play for him or can play for him or that he has even the slightest clue about tactics. Oh well. West Ham on saturday
lcfcadam Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 It was utter WANK - and even that is being harsh on wanking, because that has a happy ending! From ltlf. Not sure I agree with the general sentiment but it made me laugh nonetheless! EDIT: By which I mean, of course, that a wank and its outcome would all be much, much more pleasurable than having to watch Forest's performance as a Forest fan this evening, as well as quite a lot of other things. Reading back over that post, it didn't really come over in the right way...
He's not bald Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Getting carried away guys, please don't stop being positive but that was by far the worse Forest side I've seen in 30+ years!
flowwolf Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 From Forest forum on their manager: 'He is to football management what Beverly Allitt was to childcare' http://www.forest.vi...19730&posts=217 I would just like to say I took no joy or delight at reading those Forest fans postings depressing as they are. I would just like to say it but to be honest I have just laughed my cock off much to the wife's dismay.
Koke Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Great result today and can't wait for Swindon. The people on their forum seem to think they are Barcelona and we are Hinckley just because theyve got mardy cvnt Paulo. Another 4-0 would be great, but we'll struggle to be that consistent:p They do have a lot of confidence and self-belief for a proxy League 2 side.
breadandcheese Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Great result and fantastic night even if Forest are the worst team to come to the King Power stadium. Credit to their fans. Their chants were amusing and I did feel a brief (it was brief) moment of sympathy at their plight of having such a useless shower of shite represent their club. Hope we can do the same to Southampton now. Credit as well to Beckford. I've given him plenty of stick. Tonight was a performance from the top drawer that shoved my words firmly down my throat. Play like that and very few will match him. Well done to Wellens. He ran the midfield.
Happy Fox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 I would just like to say I took no joy or delight at reading those Forest fans postings depressing as they are. I would just like to say it but to be honest I have just laughed my cock off much to the wife's dismay. We want our Willy back the Forest fans said
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Sean St Ledger goes even further to prove that he's been our best defender whenever he's played. St Ledger was top notch and has hopefully played his way back in tonight, as a player I like him (not so much as a person). But our best defender?! You've got to drop that one, you're doing Mr Bamba an injustice there.
Happy Fox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Does anyone else have that feeling we could go to Wembley twice this year the FA Cup semi final and the playoff final which we both win
Neil_LCFC Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Does anyone else have that feeling we could go to Wembley twice this year the FA Cup semi final and the playoff final which we both win That would be 3 times then as if we win the fa cup semi the final will be at wembley.
Bert Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 St Ledger was top notch and has hopefully played his way back in tonight, as a player I like him (not so much as a person). But our best defender?! You've got to drop that one, you're doing Mr Bamba an injustice there. When he's played, he's been better than Mills or Bamba. Just my opinion like. Not saying he is our best defender as such, simply that he's been better than the other two.
Happy Fox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 That would be 3 times then as if we win the fa cup semi the final will be at wembley. Of course stupid me, I think I need to sleep good night fellow Foxes onwards and upwards
Bert Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Findley must be a closet Leicester fan. God bless America.
Sods Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Yea, I did say. Anyone even vaguely competent has looked like scoring 4 past us recently. I felt sorry for Moussi, he looks like he cares. Not even the smallest hint that the squad want to play for him or can play for him or that he has even the slightest clue about tactics. Oh well. West Ham on saturday Cotterill lost it at half time, forest were still creating chances and Reid looked a threat. Cotterill then put Reid in front of the back four, and put 5 very attacking players on that pretty much played up top and left Reid. Fair enough last 10 minutes, but at half time? Greening and boateng were awful but there was no logic! Anyway we played with fight and passion tonight, every player won their own battle then we kept the pressure on. Beckford was a massive difference so clinical, have to say I'm Wellens biggest critic at the moment but him and danns were on fine form.
flowwolf Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Does anyone else have that feeling we could go to Wembley twice this year the FA Cup semi final and the playoff final which we both win Yes i have that feeling but once the drugs wear off i'm sure it will be back to reality.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Just wondering where the mills, st ledger, beckford wellens and gally haters are tonight. as they were all class tonigh
MPH Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Even after that convincing win, still 2 things that need to be addressed: 1. Gallagher cannot beat the first man on a corner EVER! Please let danns or someone else take corners. 2. Mills needs to stop playing long balls to no-one. errr... did you watch the game? he floated a couple right into the middle of the box, way past the first man.. well, congrats on the win. Although you didn't really have to break into a sweat to do it. I did say before the game that we are woeful. Coterill makes McClaren look like a genius. Takes alot of guts as a forest fan to come on to a Leicester Forum. And as has already been said i hope for YOU PERSONALLY things improve. Does anyone else have that feeling we could go to Wembley twice this year the FA Cup semi final and the playoff final which we both win Comedy Gold, Happy.
Kitchandro Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Chris Waddle after 8 minutes: 'This is so easy for Leicester, missed a good chance there, the game should be over' lol Robbie Findlay Worst miss I've ever seen. My God Forest just get worse and worse every time I see them. Pub team would be a compliment. They should think themselves lucky we beat them, losing to Swindon would be twice as humiliatiing (watch out City) and would do them no favours in the relegation battle. Had we been at full pelt we could have won by 8 or 9 tonight. Take nothing away from us, we wanted it from minute one and that was the difference. Summed up by Beckford's display. The making of him? I hope so. Everyone played well really, Danns and Wellens in the middle deserve a mention. Nugent back to his best. Now if any of them are reading this: Which was the better experience, tonight against Forest or Saturday against Barnsley? You can have tonight more often if you show that attitude and desire.
Simmo86 Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Why Cotterill didnt put Majewski I'll never know!
fatmando Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Awesome night! Still buzzing. Well done and thanks to everyone at the back of J block for the atmosphere. It was a pleasure to join in with you tonight. Jermaine Beckford
The Year Of The Fox Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 yeh well done j block. utterly shite sitting at the front of there but the back sounded pretty loud. does do on the tv too now!
Kitchandro Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 TAXI Can somebody please make this into a GIF? With Pearson laughing at the end
