FrankieADZ Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Can you only bid for them as a pair? buy 1 get 1 free
steveherbe Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Was on SouthernTV news earlier, Leicester have made bids for both of them.
kyle09uk Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Anyone know if there any good? Never heard of them.
flowwolf Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Leicester did have a bid in for the 2 players, It's just been on ITV Local news(South Today or some bolloxks like that) about them rejecting bids from Leicester, We do get Fred Dinenage though so always worth a watch Do me a favour change your avatar it says more about you than you can imagine.
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Find me a better one and I would be more than happy to
Chairman of the Bored Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Pearce titanic for Bournemouth in the last two seasons before he went back tp Pooroldpompey. A really good lad as well. Ward (has been on loan at Bournemouth in the past) and is OK, played well at Fratton against us this season, I thought. Of the two, I'd take Pearce.
flowwolf Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Find me a better one and I would be more than happy to Got me on that, it is a good one.
easilee Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Do me a favour change your avatar it says more about you than you can imagine. What's wrong with a vid of someone about to throw for YAHTZEEEEEE!!?
He's not bald Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 What's wrong with a vid of someone about to throw for YAHTZEEEEEE!!? Or "air driving" over rough terrain in a 4x4
Callabinho Posted 21 January 2012 Posted 21 January 2012 Pompy was amongst on of our most frustrating games, and both these two lads looked solid, as far as I can remember we won probebly one header in the air! Nugents goal, other than that we seemed to struggle, I believe they partnered each other at the back with mokeana LB!
rico Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Pompey facing a winding up order over £1.6 million unpaid tax bill, surely they must have to sell players to raise the funds?
bluearmyfox23 Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 I've always rated Halford? Him and Norris are the only players that stood out for me!?
Happy Fox Posted 23 January 2012 Author Posted 23 January 2012 Still on we are interested in the pair, think we can nab them ahead of Ipswich. http://www.greenun24.co.uk/ipswich-town/updated_town_bid_for_pompey_pair_turned_down_1_1184646? With Leicester City said to be in the hunt as well, Pompey boss Michael Appleton has conceded he might have sell some of his top stars. Appleton said: “It wouldn’t surprise me in any way, shape or form if they did (Leicester) come knocking for them in the coming days. It’s not welcome but I could understand clubs thinking there’s an opportunity to pick up players. We’re in financial difficulties.”
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Pompey facing a winding up order over £1.6 million unpaid tax bill, surely they must have to sell players to raise the funds? Could just be a bidding war is about to break out,
Happy Fox Posted 23 January 2012 Author Posted 23 January 2012 No disrespect to Ipswich but we are a far better proposition then them if we make the right bid the players would jump at the chance to come here imo.
Master Fox Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 http://www1.skysport.../11712/7451588/ Sky Sports understands Ipswich have made a new bid for Portsmouth defender Jason Pearce and that Leicester have joined the chase for the player. Seems strange. One of our defenders must be leaving?
General Smuts Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 Didn't he only just sign? And is was a long drawn out process?
Simmo86 Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 Didn't he only just sign? And is was a long drawn out process? Yean signed in the summer and it was a complicated deal because Bournemouth signed Pearce from Pompey and the deal included a sell on fee. Pompey wanted him back for free but Bournemouth wanted some cash so it dragged on for quite a while!
Happy Fox Posted 24 January 2012 Author Posted 24 January 2012 Pompey have been issued with a winding up petition so I guess now is the time to get these two lads in
Babylon Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 This is hilarious, am I the only one that can see this came from an error in the original bbc story (the Leicester part is no longer there). It then got repeated by sheep on other news stations, did the full circle and came all the way back to the Portsmouth manager. Baaaaaaaaaa.
