Linked to Watford?

That doesn't sound promising, if that's the calibre of player we're attempting to sign, and failing at that.

Tbh the Drinkwater deal came out of the blue so you never know.

this Ward & pearce deal has already been mentioned on Sky & thats where really the Drinkwater story, so im sure they'd have mentioned if we'd put a bid in for the pair but they havent...only Ipswich

Not all bids for players are disclosed out on Sky.

Looks like a typo error to me, it mentions Championship rivals Leicester but a few lines down Appleton quotes that Ipswich made the bid for both players, not Leicester.

ipswich defo had a bid rejected for them both, i think bbc have messed up again like they always do

Ah probably did tbh.

They said David Graham scored Swansea's 3rd against Arsenal at one point, then changed it to Danny about 5 mins later.

Silly idiots.

Leicester did have a bid in for the 2 players, It's just been on ITV Local news(South Today or some bolloxks like that) about them rejecting bids from Leicester, We do get Fred Dinenage though so always worth a watch lol

The problem is if the Beeb have made a mistake it was get repeated and repeated through different outlets. Which is what probably happened here, their guy clearly says Ipswich.
