West Ham are buying every fooker.

"Will the players be able to cope with the pressure" ...and so on

I fvcking hate the media

How are west ham getting Morrison, won't sign a contract at Man Utd cuz he's too big for his boots, get's linked with Roma, Man City Juventus yet ends up at West Ham, his agent must be doing a great job.

Or the fact he'll be able to run amok in East London. It's like curry to a pisshead.

Given their league position & PL football looking extremely likely they can promise the moon on a stick

a late flirtation with jelavic?? see if money talks or he wants to play in the top flight with Everton.

As mentioned above, I wouldn't be surprised to see pantsils contract terminated once he's back from anc. and if bamba is subject to a decent bid, I'd suggest nigel would let him go now Wes has come in.

Saw article today where Moyes talks about bidding a max £5mill for Jelavic. A snip compared with what we are alleged to have offered in the Summer. Could we have a cheeky go for him? Doubt whether he'd be prepared to come to the Championship, though, and somehow a bid of this size, for an established star, doesn't seem to me to fit with Pearson's usual transfer policy.

Rangers still owe Everton £1.5m for Michael Ball which they can't afford to pay (yes all the way back to his £6.5m deal over 10 years ago) so I presume that's part of the negotiation & has reduced the fee somewhat

also, midtable championship team or the Premier League? Hmmmmm

You just know today will end up being a big disappointment!

I'm happy with Morgan and Marshall in, I don't think we need any more than that really. Another winger would be nice but I don't see where it'll come from. Hammill on loan from Wolves would be sweet but that's likely to happen in a few weeks if at all.

Yeah, you're right. But we can dream...

Apart from the experienced CB in the form of Wes Morgan, will we sign anyone over the age of 21 or will it be young & hungry all the way as opposed to big-bucks 'names'

Have we been linked with Hammill or is that just who you would like?

Very Happy with Drinkwater & Marshall, would be nice if we could get another creative midfielder that can play out wide and also tuck in.

Yes.

Depending on how long the injuries to Schlupp and Waghorn are going to keep them out for, and if the Fonz is only here for another 3 weeks, then we still look light upfront.

I've got friends who are big West Ham fans.

Just got a text, appparently the Morrison deal could be off, his agent wants £1 million.

This explains alot.

With Nigel as our manager I expect no surprises just completion of the ones we have been after such as Marshall. Very steady business will be done and I have no issue with that.

Someone like Vaz Te would have been perfect, a forward who is equally as effective up front as they are on the wing.
