We got morgan to sign for £1million and isn't Cotterill a free agent? Also the bid for Marshall has been agreed so we must have the money to back the bid. I think Pearson has a real eye for young talent and might just find us a little Nugget in this last day

If true do you think NP will pull a finger out and try to do business before that time?

I'd usually agree but Pearson and Shakey have repeatedly said they are after more players so who knows. I'd be relatively happy if it stops at Marshall, we can always look at loans in a few weeks if we need to. However, if a quality midfielder comes available then i'd be more than happy as well.

It's good to see that he is getting the support from Tops and Co, somew had been saying this would not be the case, looks like he will be spending at least 2 million plus and what Sharp could have cost. I am intrigued as to who plays where presuming Marshell signs and who may come in on loan once the window has shut. On thing that has made me smile is that no offers have been received for players despite loads of "xxxxx togo" speculation which makes me believe that apart from SSL we didn't want to unload anyone. So as long as Sol don't come back from the ANC with a head full of fancy figures and a winners medal NFP is getting who he wants. All we need now is Becks to find the net in leauge games
