Test Cricket 2012

Leaving Swann out is a massive gamble.

Going in with four bowlers is tough enough, but to have four seamers leaves little variation and they will be knackered by the end of the first day.

Maybe it's time to get Pietersen trained up to be a decent bowler in case we need to leave a spinner out?

Shouldn't be though, Petersen was badly dropped and Smith was fortunate to survive.

Broad is completely out of form.

we were poor in the field in the last test though, and broad bowled poorly the also, hence my post.

Bowled fairly well, robbed of one wicket and if Swann is at slip we have two.

Like Corky says, that's looking a huge error already.

Not having a spinner will prove to be costly around the 60 over mark when the ball goes soft.

We do have KP to turn to.

Of course why didn't I think of that :yahoo: KP is going to win the day.

Or our premium batsman is going to wear himself out throwing pies down.

Could be fill your boots time.

On a postive note I'm booking the flights to New Zealand this week for 2 test matches in Feb. :trumpet: :trumpet:

Just had a pretty decent bet on Amla under 45.5 runs...........when you have made a huge score it's rare you follow up with another biggie.

You'll be a happy man then, what were the odds?

10/11.

Always is 10/11 over and under and they set a run mark, always back low scores after a guy has made something big. Almost impossible to carry that mental strength through two innings on the bounce.

Stroke of luck though....

I always thought that too.

Look forward to some two day Tests then. New Zealand are so awful currently that they are making a poor West Indies side look like world beaters.

Boom!

Set up well for tomorrow now, done a grand job with the new ball.

How different things could have been if Cook didn't drop that dolly!

Good fight back, though!

We dropped another tough chance late on, had an LBW given out then reversed and Finn's dead ball wicket, could have been very different, but it isn't what it is though is an ok day in the field, it's just going to hurt so much more that we put them in to bat.
