Strauss gets another ton. And yet again it is described as "one of his best". Has he ever got a century that wasn't "one of his best centuries"?

Aren't they all?

As Scouse Fox said, each century he gets is hailed as one of his best, so yes :D

I reckon he might carry his bat in this innings.

EDIT: Maybe not.

starting to get pissed off going tommorow [supposed to be] but for some shit batting from england bottom 5 batsman and west indies it called be finished tonight. for ****s sake its not a oneday game

Shiv's gone cheaply. 31-3. Barring any huge stands in the middle order we should win this.

west indies are ****ing poor this afternoon batting that is bowling good . if strauss goes for the extra half hour then he is a **** i would like to go tommorow

As a unit our 4 bowlers must be one of the best we've had?

Easy in the end.

Trent Bridge need to look at there pricing though, could have had a full ground today, couldnt believe it when I rocked up and was told it was 30 quid.

all depends where tou sat it cost me 20 pound . my biggest groan for test cricket is the football chants about cricket piss me off. cricket is supposed to be quiet and dignified not people who are getting pissed and start chanting spoiling for others. the stewaeds need to tell those louts to shut up this is not a football match . apart from this i really injoyed my 2 days at the test match just a shame it called not have gone to the 5th day

I noticed a bit of that on Sunday, it sounded like some Forest and Leicester fans having a bit of fun, I didn't think it was serious, there were also 4 west indians in the top corner of the stand giving it some and getting it back all day, they left to a round of applause and a "Cheerio" chant.

If it is all in good humour I see no harm in it, it is better than the 2 Barmy Army chants all day long.

You need to get it somewhere between the two.

I love the banter at the cricket, makes half the day for me, most of it is witty and clever , what I don't like is drunken morons who start just start shouting absolute shit.

James Taylor has just staked his claim to replace Peiterson live on Sky.

He was 25 off 45.... Ended on 115 off 77

Was great to watch, he has the quickest hands of anyone I've seen in a long long time.

Nasser just made the good point that he could play both a nudging innings and a hard hitting innings.

Notts got 122 off 48 at the end

Not Test cricket I know but didn't want to start a new thread.

Kevin Pietersen has retired from ODI's and T20 internationals with immediate effect.

Just read that, I suspect there is some politics in there, a real shame as he is one of the best limited overs players in the world, see his century in the IPL.

At least someone is showing a greater respect for tests than the more lucrative forms of the game.
