2 wickets down already, not looking good.....

Ah, pessimistic Ronnie is back!

I really can't see NZ bowling us out twice, especially if we avoid the follow-on.

Its looking great.

soz!

We're two wickets down out of 20 and it's not like Bell, Compton, Root, Bairstow and Prior are bunnies.

The NZ attack is hardly world class and the pitch is flat. It's got draw written all over it.

hey I'm sure your right, but I dont really want a draw I want a win, hence my comment.

Unfortunately I think the wicket will prevent a positive result; it looks very flat.

I bet Anderson, Broad and Finn are looking forward to getting the Kiwi batsmen on a decent wicket and bowling with a decent ball in the return series. I certainly think they'll struggle.

RooFox would love a draw.

For Australia obviously.

Yes it did, but we did get 9 wickets for less than 200 runs, so theres a chance, but the fact we lost 2 early wickets may have killed any chances of a win, and now a draw is probably the best outcome we have, which is always dissapointing.

I wonder if he was one of the supporters forced to queue up when there were thousands of empty seats on show lol

Yep!!

Bad decision cricket wise but amazing place to visit, beats Australia.

On the field we have been awful.

You didn't take your bat and pads with you by any chance?! You'd contribute far more than Bairstow.

I wish he'd been that good. I don't really see the fascination with Bairstow, and although I might be biased, I'd rather see Morgan or Taylor given a chance at 6.

If we can somehow bowl them out for under 100, it'd make for an interesting finish.

4-0 on your big tour out.

Peter Siddle was top scorer in both innings lol

First time in history a team's number 9 has done that.

Hoping for a competitive declaration.

On a side note Panesar is a joke, I forgot how bad he is.

Needs a mark in the field to know where to stand and his agility and movement for a professional sportsman is embarrassing.

After the way we've bowled this first 45 minutes and some of Cook's field placings, I've turned to religion and I'm hoping for a miracle!

Baffling decision to play him.....pretty sure I could bat easily against him, and I'm beyond shit.

Even Geoff Boycott is complaining about Ronald Bell's slow scoring.

Does the self proclaimed God do anything but complain about something?

No idea, probably not.

Anyway, we've got through the first hour unscathed.

lol It was a rhetorical question - I wasn't expecting an answer.

Yeah, so far so good. Fingers crossed they keep it up.
