stivesfox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Nigel Pearson, seemed pretty pissed off on radio made two references to changes, which players do people think have now annoyed him who he might have been referring too. Did notice on twitter some apologies from players for this evening.
Happy Fox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 The depressing thing we haven't got any options so we cannot replace the shite in the team
stourbridgefox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 I didn't hear his interview but I have heard the phrase 'serious repercussions' if anyone suggests the season is over. I hope he is talking about player's asses being kicked and nothing to do with the ownership of the club? Can anyone who heard it put the comments into context and offer some reassurance?
john doe Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 same bs as before [deluisions of grandure] ? blame someone else
Ozwin Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Might be the excuse Pearson has been looking for to drop Mills.
clare Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 I think he's livid at the players. I think that's the context it's meant to be taken in.

I think he said something along the lines of 'if anybody in the dressing room' so I assume he means for the players.
Larry_LCFC Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 It was the first thing he said. Stringer said it was disappointing and he responded angrily with it. Said there are lots of points still to play for and saying otherwise is ridiculous. He's so deluded tbh.

The Padster Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 I think he's livid at the players. I think that's the context it's meant to be taken in. Of course it is, but it wouldn't be FoxesTalk without wild accusations and crackpot theories.
EnderbyFox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 If he still thinks we have a chance of the play-offs, then I'm sorry- but he is clearly showing signs of delusions of grandeur
stourbridgefox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Ok, thanks for the answers. I can handle losing and a few player's egos getting bruised, the only disaster would be the owners losing interest. Let's hope he does what is needed before our next league game.
The Padster Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Of course it is, but it wouldn't be FoxesTalk without wild accusations and crackpot theories. Further to this, it's no coincidence that 95% of us on here are from, and the other 5% follow, the same city as David Icke.

I don't really see Top n co telling him they will walk away and I don't see anyone wanting us atm. I do see him dropping some and if attendances fall I do see his job under pressure. He must know that too and no I'm not calling for him to be sacked.
wellyfox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 If he still thinks we have a chance of the play-offs, then I'm sorry- but he is clearly showing signs of delusions of grandeur Really I just want some of what he's on sod the grandeur lol
Callabinho Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 The disaster is around the corner, the losses will me horrible reading!
stivesfox Posted 14 February 2012 Author Posted 14 February 2012 He wasn't too pleased we gave goals away set pieces, I reckon Mills be out Saturday with Wes cup tied, they bring in bamba, maybe even give pantsil a go. I think under achieves agreed with a caller tonight Gallagher good game in every 10, so expect he be out marshall in, the you got Wellens another out of sorts add to that Dyer, my guess his casualties are Mills, Dyer, Gallagher and Wellens.
stourbridgefox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Has he ever done a bad job anywhere? Kept Southampton up, promotion and playoffs with us, steadied the ship and built a decent team at Hull. I would be gutted if he was sacked.
wellyfox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Further to this, it's no coincidence that 95% of us on here are from, and the other 5% follow, the same city as David Icke. Now I really do want some of what he is on I bet drug dealers would give both arms and legs to get hold of that shit.
Happy Fox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 It is obvious he is under pressure he is hoping we get into the playoffs to save his job.
accessory Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Has he ever done a bad job anywhere? Kept Southampton up, promotion and playoffs with us, steadied the ship and built a decent team at Hull. I would be gutted if he was sacked. He's been too loyal to players who have consistently let him down, as they did Sven before him. Surely even his patience must be wearing thin. Changes MUST be made for Saturday, otherwise Norwich could give us a hiding.
cc_star Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 I didn't hear his interview but I have heard the phrase 'serious repercussions' if anyone suggests the season is over. I hope he is talking about player's asses being kicked and nothing to do with the ownership of the club? Can anyone who heard it put the comments into context and offer some reassurance? What repercussions could it have for the owners? They brought us for £39m, saddled us with a load a of players who can't achieve shit taking a play-off side down to mid-table, pumping in up to £20m more in the process... They can't sell us for £59m+ thanks to the ongoing much higher wage commitments & our much lower league position & worse outlook they'd lose almost everything if we were to be sold & would certainly lose everything if we were to fold. Disgraceful turnaround in fortunes, so who fecking cares what the owners do??? Of course he means the players & they're constant inability to keep focused & full of effort for 90mins
Super_horns Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Probably peeved at letting in some pretty soft goals and missing a couple of really good chances. You guys were good on the ball at times but we defended very well and nicked a goal late on.
sdb Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 I'd be absolutely furious if NP was sacked! Give him 18 months minimum. Do we never learn?!
