Pearson Interview

We were better than them. There are a couple of people not pulling their weight and I expect NP to have a different midfield come the next league game.

Also, just because a couple of numptys call Radio bullshit saying NP should go, doesnt mean its a Possibility

What do you think the midfield should be then?

He better get busy in the loan market then, because the midfield is the one area where we have next to no options.

With Drinkwater cup tied for saturday, and maybe injured, it really only leaves us with wellens and Danns centrally.

Out wide its really only a choice of two from Gallacher, Dyer or Marshall.

I expect Pearsons changes will be at the back.

Given that Peltier was took off at half time, he could well be dropped.

He may well move St leger to right back, as he did tonight, and i wouldn`t be surprised to see Bamba back on Saturday, possibly with Morgan.

Where on earth has this Pearson being sacked BS come from?

People are putting two and two together and coming up with fifteen - probably because their maths is as good as their spelling... lol

Of course it does, we all know that those callers are the sages of LCFC. It's those that believe that the owners will ditch us in insurmountable debt despite being so financially deep into the club they'd find it damn near impossible and that NP is not a mental idiot who sees the problems within the team but cannot change much due to the stupidly long and expensive contracts handed out willy-nilly to, at the very best, mediocre championship players on extravagant wages that no one else would even begin to consider paying. Those folks are the numptys.

For those of you moronic enough to believe this is my actual opinion, look up the word sarcasm.

To me he sounded worried on that interview, I bet he's dreading the morning. Playing wise the last two games have been good performances, tonight we were just unlikely, plus we should have put away our chances.

You lot are so used to sacking managers now you think it's normal. It isn't normal to sack a manager who's failing to get wins with a team who were built by another guy who also failed to get wins with them, after years of failing to get wins at this level. Get a ****ing grip, it takes more than one full season to built a team to get out of this division.

What are we supposed to do for the next 15 games just accept the shite mediocre performances and hope that it will get better?

Not listened to it yet but from what i seen tonight the players that I reckon he would be pissed off with will be Mills, Peltier and Gallagher in my opinion, Our midfield was awful when Drinkwater wasn't playing

I honestly can't name a midfield I want to play for Norwich

Marshall - Drinkwater - Wellens - ???

Dyer and Gallagher aren't good enough. Wellens is touch and go depending on his form.

Wish we still had Abe or Fernandes

Marshall and Drinkwater are cup tied, id be surprised if we have 7 subs for the Norwich game :surrender:

Wait... is marshall cup tied?

Agreed. It'll be a crying shame if NP doesn't get to reshape the squad in the summer. He's got a mess of a midfield and a massive injury list to work with until then. I hope the owners understand that building a top championship side takes time and that chopping and changing the manager every few months will not get them anywhere. Drinkwater and Marshall are exactly the type of player we need more of, and I've no doubt that replacing some of the deadwood with more young players with bags of potential will make us contenders for next season.

When NP says "If I hear anyone talking about season's being over... there'll be serious repercussions". Isn't he referring to the players and their attitude?? Thats how I heard it. As in if he hears that from the players and they have a 'nothing to play for' mentality there'll be serious repercussions for them.

To someone with a tiny bit of sense that's what it sounds like. To others it means he's getting sacked and the owners are leaving.

Oh and Happy Fox, for the love of god man go and see the doctor to get something that controls your mood swings. You're up and down more than a whores draws!

Thanks Babs for the advise I will be sure to take that onboard  , no but in all seriousness after getting a goodnights sleep and reflection, I can accept that we will finish midtable this season. Most of that money we have spent hasn't been used wisely,Sven would spend money on players of quality but that we would be as far as his scouting would go he wouldn't look at all the traits of the players i.e mental strength of character, hunger for success which NP seems to be doing with the signings of Drinkwater and Marshall. NP has a collection of mediocre players on the books and when the summers come I hope all the deadwood are gone (Wellens, Gallagher etc) and we can add freshness to the side with players that have the right mentality which is something we have seriously been lacking.

He indicated at changes a couple of times during the interview, but apart from in defence, what options does he actually have to make these changes? The combination of injuries and our transfer business in January have left us with even less cover up front and in midfield than we started within January. Despite starting the season with a whole load of CMs There literally isn't now an option other than Wellens and Danns in CM for the Naarwich game - unless Peliter or Bamba are picked in there. Of course NFP won't come out in public and say that the season's completely bollocksed up, but given his comment at the end of the interview about leaving what was said in the dressing room, he'll have left the players in no doubt.

He was clearly pointing his frustration at the defence "playing in our half" sounds like he was happy with what he saw going forward.; Wonder if we'll see Bamba thrust back into the team
