The numbers of people posting after we lose reflect four things IMO. Firstly, how frustrated we all are that we cannot even win two matches in succession Secondly, a lot of people do like a good moan.. Me included sometimes. Thirdly, based upon level of pre season expectation (those people who said we would finish top two know who they are)... The season has been truly a bag of shite. No excuses can be made either by Sven or by Pearson regarding our inconsistency.. Finally.. We all think we are mini football managers and love a forum like this because we can air our views.

I think people post to show their deep disappointment after our team has lost again, especially when we can't win back to back. I was negative this morning when I saw my lad, I told him wasn't bothering with a season ticket next year, because we are shite, I didnt mean it, just frustration surfacing. If we had won, doubt if we would have spoke!

Thats because we aren't, we are playing ok, sometimes we get the upper hand and dominate teams, sometimes we are undone by bad decisions/bad decision making by the players/bad luck/opposition that are just better than us/oposition that out-muscle us. If you had a tape of the last few games (excluding Brighton because of the red cards) against Watford, Boro and Cardiff I bet we would pretty much have played the same, periods of good pressing football, periods of giving the ball away and being sloppy, taking some chances and not others, defending well at times and not others. The funny thing about the 3 games mentioned, we scored twice in each game, the difference is we got the breaks against Cardiff, Miller's offside goal, and not against Watford, the foul in the build up, If there is one criticism I have of Pearson is that he is so rigid in his set up, there seems to be no analysis of the opposition, and he never uses substitutions to great effect. We beat Cardiff at home, so that must be the same way to beat Watford away, I know we are limited by the squad at the moment, and against Watford we didn't know Iwelumo was playing until late in the day. There is nothing I hate more than the keep the same team/never change a winning team brigade this is the most unpredictable league in the world, so predictable team selections are not going to work, unless you have the best team in the league and we don't.

I (sad i know) but spent hours earlier (without really realising, i dont have time to spare ) going over old FT threads and laughing so hard at some of the cracking things that were said, the banter between eachother, the light hearted digs at eachother which had everyone in stitches. I cannot remember the last time FT made me laugh apart from laugh with insanity. Reading the boards these days sometimes feels like a chore. I know I don't have to read it and all that jazz, but I like to catch up on the latest info, but to get to that info I have to trawl through pages and pages of Pearson out, Gallagher is sh*t, Marshall must be sh*t 'cus gallagher is playing, Wellens is crap he never plays well etc. It gets on my wick, if you are a fan, yes i said fan, of this football club stand up and be counted, support the team, if your a moaning git who just likes to shout abuse from the rooftops of the KP, then fack off! Bring back the old guard of FT is all I can say, shame all these emo teeny weeny's have destroyed what was a great atmosphere on here. Yes i know I was a teeny weeny at the time, and yes I know I was a bit emo at times, but atleast I added a bit of gest and comedy to the table with it, rather than "Pearson is rubbish he makes me want to slit my wrists 'blud'". blimey guys, chin up, season ain't over yet, we still have what 15 games left, thats 45 points up for grabs, no team is winning consistantly and were only 8/9 points behind, thats 3 wins. Play every game like its a god damn cup final, play for every single fricking point and its still doable. Come on you blue army. What ever happened to 'keep the faith' 'foxes never quit' 'were a great bunch of lads who can do it!' Just think of those scarves you will buy next season 'I kept the faith' Here we go!!!!! What have the Thais done wrong in your eyes except may be naiively backing Sven?

For years we've been crying for owners that will actually put their money where their mouth is instead of just talking and here they are and we still moan and come up with every conspiracy theory under the sun to suggest that their intentions are anything other than sincere. They have done nothing in their ownership to suggest they would leave us high and dry and after sacking Sven were very honest in their reasons why (many owners would not have given any justification) and if we're all honest with ourselves, when Top said it wasnt the fact we were losing games but it was the manner in which we were losing was concerning, not many of us would have disagreed with that. Yes they could have given him half a dozen more games, but the inconsistency would more than likely have remained and the sacking would still have come. If we and the owners continue to back NP, this time next year we will be in the top 6. If not we'll just be having these same conversations.
