Captain... Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Wellens is captain Fair enough, I think it could only be Wellens or Kasper as captain.
Danno Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Hope Grant Holt destroy's St Ledger And you're supposed to support leicester?
Spiritwalker Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Happy with this, but it shows how low we are on numbers at present in midfield.
Callabinho Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 going for a 3-2 defeat, I think we will give a good account of ourselves, Norwich’s class may better us.
cc_star Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Not surprised by Morgan coming in, Norwich's strikers ie. holt and Morison are big aerial strikers and SSL and Morgan have a more physical presence, they also have pacey wingers in pilkington and bennett so Kennedy in to provide faster, younger legs and to give konch a well earned rest Nail on the head on all points!
unreachable Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Why isn't Bamba back from the Africa Cup of Nations? Drogba seems to have found his way back to Blighty and on to the pitch at Chelsea. If he's got no good reason I hope he gets fined and apologises to the fans for his bad attitude. Kennedy played excellently at Crystal Palace and I'm pleased he has got his chance.
HoustonFox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Same here. Can't believe that neither bamba nor pantsil are even on the bench Dude, they aren't on the bench because they still havent come back from ACON
Ozwin Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Pearson did say there would be changes and repercussions after the last game so here we go, time for players to make a claim for their position.

I'm confused that neither him nor pantsil have even made the bench. Especially pantsil who I would have thought could have come in to rest peltier
Captain... Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Hope Grant Holt destroy's St Ledger Come on Beasty, I know you like Mills but nobody has a right to play, if NP believes Morgan is better suited to combat Norwich's stengths then so be it, now support the lads, Mills will be back and he will be fired up when he gets his chance, being dropped can often be the kick up the arse some players need.
burni Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Norwich's priority is the premier league as lambert said so im expecting them to use a few fringe players. We definately have a chance, this game is going to be no tougher than southampton away was. Play like heros we could be in for a shock im going for 2 - 1 leicester hanging on in the end for the win.
Nickfosse Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Not surprised by Morgan coming in, Norwich's strikers ie. holt and Morison are big aerial strikers and SSL and Morgan have a more physical presence, they also have pacey wingers in pilkington and bennett so Kennedy in to provide faster, younger legs and to give konch a well earned rest Really? Juke box had SSl in all kinds of trouble. I would have thought if it was horses for courses you would go Mills and Morgan. I think Mills has been dropped, plain and simple. Nothing to do with the opposition
NewburyFox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Norwich team: Steer, Martin, Drury, Morison, Jackson, Pilkington, Hoolahan, Fox, Bennett, Barnett, Ward That team is beatable. Come on Leicester!
Ian W LCFC Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Anyone got any streams? Found one but not downloading anything like I had to on that. This one should work http://www.vipbox.tv/sports/football.html
Captain... Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Dude, they aren't on the bench because they still havent come back from ACON That is shocking if true, I know Pantsil has had some family problems, but why Bamba isn't back is beyond me.
Captain... Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Norwich team: Steer, Martin, Drury, Morison, Jackson, Pilkington, Hoolahan, Fox, Bennett, Barnett, Ward That team is beatable. Come on Leicester! Interesting, still some good players in there but no Holt, Naughton and Ruddy is certainly a good thing,
Guest Col city fan Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Come on Beasty, I know you like Mills but nobody has a right to play, if NP believes Morgan is better suited to combat Norwich's stengths then so be it, now support the lads, Mills will be back and he will be fired up when he gets his chance, being dropped can often be the kick up the arse some players need. A kick up the ass... As I mentioned last night can work wonders. And the aerial threat will be apparent today.. We'll see if Nige has got this right Btw... I wouldn't be surprised to see Beckford put in the performance of the season today.... Big stage an all that.....
LCFCstriker Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Really? Juke box had SSl in all kinds of trouble. I would have thought if it was horses for courses you would go Mills and Morgan. I think Mills has been dropped, plain and simple. Nothing to do with the opposition I'm not saying that it was purely because of the opposition im just saying that SSL is more of a physical presence than mills. Mills would not be able to cope with big strikers
mattsmith74 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 All sorts of mixed reports re Bamba and Pantsil. Merc said yesterday they weren't back, Sky said they were and in contention to play. God knows what's taken them so long. Yaya played for Man C on Thursday, Gervinho in Arsenal squad today. Drogba and Kalou back. Something not right.
pSinatra Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Norwich team: Steer, Martin, Drury, Morison, Jackson, Pilkington, Hoolahan, Fox, Bennett, Barnett, Ward That team is beatable. Come on Leicester! Never heard of any of them?? Draw & back to the KP!!
jonlcfc1990 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Everyone Hopi Marshall plays well to save the egg on their face. Mills on the bench is surprising. Baby I'm ready to go playing on the speakers with it raining through the hole in the ground. SO HAPPY!!!!!! COYB P.S SO GLAD THE PESSAMISTS STAYED AWAY
kingfox Posted 18 February 2012 Author Posted 18 February 2012 Thanks for putting the subs and changing the article title, would of posted the subs myself, but was too busy posting my frustration in the Mills thread. Im glad Kennedy is being given a chance, I really like Konchesky though he has been very consistent, but Kennedy played well against Palace and the few minutes he was on against Forest, I really liked the look of him. Glad Mills is dropped, but surprised Bamba isn't back in yet. Will be tough today, we will either give them a fight like we have done against Spurs and Man City in the past, or we will simply get a hiding something like 4-0.
dannythefox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 I feel Bamba could be on his way in the summer.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Re: SSL stringer has said he had a lot of strapping on at the open trainning session, so looks like a rest Re: mills, NFP give him credit, let's see if the captaincy is taken of him as well Re: Bamba thought a return date of the 22nd was being kicked around if he made the final?
Kitchandro Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 We need Dyer and Marshall to be brave and run at them. We're unlikely to create much from the centre of midfield. If Nugent and Beckford continue in the same vein as they have done recently they can be a threat. I can see us leaking some goals with our defence at the moment.
