Freeman's Wharfer Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Agree completely. Runs around a lot, if given time and space can play a pass (not always the right one) however if he's under pressure he constantly gives the ball away. What exactly does he offer?

Brown Fox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Think he's playing quite well. And according to the opta stats on one of the streams he's made 23 passes with a 96% completion rate compared to Hoolahan who has made 21 with a 62% completion rate. So his passing isn't all that bad.

Other than that both midfielders have played well. As have everyone else, hence why we're outplaying supposedly the eighth best team in the country.

I can, it was quite poor actually, but it didn't require starting a new thread over, this next bit isn't aimed at you but the OP. EVERY SINGLE FOOTBALLER LOSES THE BALL AT SOME POINT, EVEN MEESI AND RONALDO, WE DON'T HAVE THE GREATEST PLAYERS IN THE WORLD STOP EXPECTING THEM TO BE PERFECT AND NEVER MAKE A MISTAKE. FFS.

cc_star Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Never seen anyone lose the ball as much His energy, if he's on top of his game just about lets him get away with it... but it's like he's a pinball bumper the way the ball pings off him by 10yards when he's attempting to trap it Gets caught in possession too Fouls all the time too, giving freekicks away in dangerous positions We need to do better, much better, but don't have the options this season. Was OK today & contributed to an amazing result
