Happy Fox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 There are some decent managers out there in Clark, Grayson etc whether County can attract them or not is another matter.
J.Lisemore Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Not sure whether Grayson or Clark would be interested due to a lack of funds, only guessing though.
Happy Fox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Not sure whether Grayson or Clark would be interested due to a lack of funds, only guessing though. It seems an odd one sacking Allen but possibly they want to get into a playoff positions so have decided to sack the manager now in the hope of salvaging their season.
RonnieTodger Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 It said "relieved of his duties" on their official website. Maybe he wanted the Huddersfield job?
Guest shearfox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 It seemed like he was doing a decent job, are County good enough for the playoffs?
Tielemans63 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Maybe they've realised that, though he has some talent, he is more trouble than he's worth.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Surprised but they arent going down.

Lamby Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 It seemed like he was doing a decent job, are County good enough for the playoffs? No, simple enough..they started off well but are sliding down the table now, theres only a slim chance they'll make it depending on how Stevenage/Bournemouth/Carlisle carry on the rest of the season
accessory Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 They overachieved in the first few months. Most Notts fans I know would have taken a mid-table spot at the start of the season. I wouldn't be surprised if Allen's departure was due to off-field issues. it's been a regular feature of his managerial career, including his brief time at the Way.
Mack Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 I agree that this sacking probably came about because of Allen's eccentric ways. I would doubt their chances of employing anyone any better, but maybe they just want someone easier to work with.
