Swalker Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 This isn't just a reaction to this game but generally since he's come what actually has he done? I remember him costing us two goals for hospital back passes. Everyone says he's great and is a class player, he might have the potential or whatever but what productive think has he actually done?
Fox 4 Life Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 He hasnt had a proper opportunity so can't tell either way
Babylon Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Well if you had watched the games he had been excellent until his injury, since then he hasn't had much of a chance due to cup games and us actually winning with Danns and Wellens playing ok. The fact you are posting this now is most definitely a reaction to the same. The same as others suddenly informing us that all of Pearsons signings have been shit.
Aylestone Fox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Well, we lost here come the topics on slagging the players off,..!
Swalker Posted 6 March 2012 Author Posted 6 March 2012 He hasnt had a proper opportunity so can't tell either way You have to earn a starting place when you get your chance. He had 2 or 3 games when he first came to us and that was his option to make his impact surely
lcfcsnow Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Nothing, like Marshall. Really disappointed in both.
Babylon Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Since his injury he's hardly played Altered it for you.
kingfox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Drinkwater has been more on the bench, since coming back. Marshall though has been shocking so far, just another Gallagher.

Does nobody pay attention?

He didn't get his opportunity today, it just annoyed me that people say that Danny Drinkwater's coming on we'll be fine.
Kitchandro Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Like Marshall, I don't think he's 'actually done' anything. He's not been terrible, but he's hardly been 'class'. He's got potential and he hasn't been here long. My disappointment in him and Marshall so far is they've done an Andy King and not really taken much responsibility in possession. They're scared to go forward with it and just make simple passes. Danns, Wellens and Dyer aren't really good enough. The midfield is still a problem. When are we going to get quick, fearless players who run at people and try and create something themselves? If teams park the bus are we just going to try and slowly pass it through the middle all match? IT'S NOT WORKING. Having said that, the defence was wank again, scoring 2 and losing is pathetic.
Swalker Posted 6 March 2012 Author Posted 6 March 2012 Which he did and he won a starting place and then got injured, we then won a few games on the trot. Does nobody pay attention? And in them games, what did he do? Need some stats but his creativity he is meant to have hasn't shown through
foxer Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Had a terrible game tonight. His first touch was awful and his passing wasn't much better.
Babylon Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 And in them games, what did he do? Were you there, did you see the games. If so you should bloody know what he did. What were you expecting 75 goal making passes in about 3 games?
Swalker Posted 6 March 2012 Author Posted 6 March 2012 Were you there, did you see the games. If so you should bloody know what he did. What were you expecting 75 goal making passes in about 3 games? Yes I was there, his hospital pass to st ledger which ultimatley cost us a goal. Yes he presses the ball high up and has a good engine. His creative passes don't actually have that high of a success rate
Jimmy Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 this thread is almost as dumb as the 1st RL caller asking why Kennedy played instead of Bamba at left back...

He's hardly played!
The People's Hero Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Danns is a dick though. Aside from his energy, there is nothing about his game I like. Lets not use him as the yardstick of being good.
