jamesmilner Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 at this moment in time , what do think the thais are thinking about where we are in their strive for promotion ? where we should be ? how to get to their objective ? if any change is required , what ? please try answer as if you were them and your opinion ?
FrankieADZ Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 if they are sensible owners then they should know, that it will take time to for the club to get back into the premiership. Chopping and changing isnt going to help, and it will certainly cos them a hell of alot more money that theyve already spent.
HEGGSY Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 They'll be thinking that we've grossly underachieved and will be very disappointed considering their expenditure. On saying that however, I still believe they are in it for the long term and I'd like to think that they're willing to give NP next season and if promotion is achieved next year then, who knows?
NeilyBoy Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Oh shit, this was a big mistake. We don't want to pull out and lose all the money we've invested in them though! I guess we'll have to keep funding them until we can find some new suckers to buy this club of permanent underachievers. Edit: That's not what I think just to clarify; it's what I reckon they think.

I think they will have nigel in the boardroom and ask WTF.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 We dont know what they are thinking no one does what i would say is on TV we are representing their brand and have put it some good TV showings and it's earned us another game on Sunday. If we get to wembley it will be a jackpot for their marketing revenue. They arent leaving us sorry to upset people who just want to moan
yorkie1999 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 I thought they were on about a ten year plan originally

davieG Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 We should have stuck to Polo and signed William and Harry with Charles as the Manager that would have got the King Power name up in lights
Steve Agnew Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 After watching the QPR documentary, it amazed me how some owners can swing with emotions just like the fans, and criticise team selection etc, so I don't think we can rule anything out. However I'm not suggesting our owners are like that, but one wonders whether they look on at the matt mills saga, and raise concern over his handling of their most expensive asset. Paid £3.5 milllion and 30k a week, and not even using him as a sub - From a business perspective this may seem ludicrous? I don't think they will look on favourably on it that's for sure. But in the main, I think the owners are swayed by the fans a lot, and the boos ringing out in the stadium made their mind up about Sven. After all the fans are the customers. If the team loses and the fans get frustrated and start booing, they may see it as a means to the end of protecting season ticket sales.
ChampionFox50 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 The Thais need to adopt a more longer term approach to progression, get behind NP he is fully equiped to get the club promoted by clearing out some of the big earners and creating a winning driven mentality as he did in his first spell. There is nothing to gain by anyone if they were to withdraw support or sack the manager we have to give NP time.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 To be honest I blame them a bit for our current mood and situation. If they hadn't constantly banged on about the Prem there wouldn't have been so much pressure on the players and managers and expectations wouldn't have been so ridiculously high amongst the fans. Obviously their investment has been great and long may it continue but I hope they've learnt something about public and media relations over the past couple of years.
Leicfox Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 If I were Vichai, I'd be thinking Phu....ket I should of bought my son a bottle of splash on from duty free.

This is the championship not the champions league. Whoever bought the players who can't handle the pressure of being expected to get a win at Bristol City is who should be blamed, not the Thais. They said they wanted promotion. They were hardly going to buy the club and then say: meh, not bovvered.
Bettsj2 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 These people are not stupid nor naive. They will know that we are not going to go up this year so will be putting together the financial plan for next season. I would think they have already spoken to NP about how much he will have to spend in the summer and made clear that his objective is to get us promoted next season and anything less will result in him getting the boot.

Donut Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 The thais will realise that Nigel is the best man for the job and stick with him and let him build. They have said they are in it for the long haul, but i doubt they will be as quick to spend so lavishly in the summer as we did in this preseason.
red5 Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 I think they'll be looking for a new manager already, both sven and nigel have failed, giving them time is rubbish, sven had the summer, nigel had january and loans, both managers should have done better.

Do a black man now - and then someone from Pakistan who lives in Wales. I adore lazy casual racism, it's my favourite type. Soooooo funny.
