Cecchini1976 Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 mills didn't cost 500,000 so it's completely pointless to even bring that up. Matt mills did not choose how much the transfer fee would be, that was Leicester , and it's not pointless if people hate him more for the fact of his price tag. Not saying you are one of them, but through out this season it has been mentioned
cuddly ken Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I've heard he's just sitting on his contract & taking the money unless he can get a good pay off from us. That's why he never went to Leeds.
blueredswed Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 If Matt Mills has an 'Ego' I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing considering the way he folded against Reading at the beginning of the season. Perhaps he has now got a bit of perspective and everyone can get on with what's important. This!
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Does anyone else think talk of a bust up was massively exaggerated? And I'm afraid peoples's 'word' on here doesn't count for a lot... It seems to be playing out a lot like the St. Ledger situation from earlier in the season...
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I am not suprised he wants to stay at the Club I can think of £40,000 good reasons why. If he works hard then he should get another chance I still rate him and Bamba as our best 2 centre backs bad attitude or not. Why do people speculate about how much he earns? Unless you're in the payroll department at the club, don't bother!
blueredswed Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Why do people speculate about how much he earns? Unless you're in the payroll department at the club, don't bother! Well well good saying now let him pay back (and I knew hee will do)!
Stevie Synex Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I've heard he's just sitting on his contract & taking the money unless he can get a good pay off from us. That's why he never went to Leeds. I also heard this too
wellyfox Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Well first SSL then M Mills so who's gonna be next? Picked up a paper in a hospital waiting room the other day There was a bit about Alex McLeish he said he hade a chat with ferrgie about 10 yrs ago. He asked Ferrgie if he treated the players the same as when they where at Abberdeen together. Ferrgies reply was Oh god no you gotta be a psychiatrist now days. Everyone's made out that M Mills is in the wrong was he we will never know. And not wanting pearson out but do think praps he should have a chat with Sir Alex about his man management skills. OR Even total lack of them

OR Even total lack of them I think there is a line that cant be crossed, Fergie would also agree with that. Players egos get dented when they dont play, and if they cross the line in reaction they deserve to be put in their place.

Just like you and everyone else on here I know nothing. Was just a thought and a possibility. But if we can only post the truth and not speculate thats fine by me.
Mack Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Just like you and everyone else on here I know nothing. Was just a thought and a possibility. But if we can only post the truth and not speculate thats fine by me. Well I think we can also safely assume that what Pearson did to Mills was not for no reason. So maybe a bit of faith and trust in our Manager is also required. Of course to those who never thought he should have come back in the first place they will keep chipping away at him over matters like this.

But we don't really know what happened and most have Mills as the one in the wrong. All I am saying is we don't know and is just as lightly NP gobbed it off and pushed MM to whatever happened.
Mack Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Yeah your right there is. But we don't really know what happened and most have Mills as the one in the wrong. All I am saying is we don't know and is just as lightly NP gobbed it off and pushed MM to whatever happened. I think you can almost certainly say nothing like that happened. Pearson is an intelligent and calculated operator, and has too much self control to do anything as stupid as that.

All I am saying is we don't know and is just as lightly NP gobbed it off and pushed MM to whatever happened. I would imagine that if was Pearson in the wrong then the PFA would be involved and Mills wouldn't have been excluded from 1st team activities also Pearson would have taken that action lightly either if it was Mills at fault.

Of course to those who never thought he should have come back in the first place they will keep chipping away at him over matters like this. I don't personally know him so he gets neither and yes I do support him as manager. That don't mean he can't be in the wrong. And where did I say it was for no reason all I am saying is that there are 2 side's to it and we don't even know one of them 100%.
gazfox9 Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I've heard he's just sitting on his contract & taking the money unless he can get a good pay off from us. That's why he never went to Leeds. Even if he went on loan to Leeds, he'd stil have been earning his contracted wage, we'd have been topping up whatever Leeds were prepared to pay.
Captain... Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 The only thing we know for a fact is that against Norwich (the biggest game of the season) he was dropped to the bench, then something happened, we don't know what, but what started it was the manager doing what he is entitled to do and drop a player who hadn't been doing enough to deserve his place. The next thing we know as a fact is that he trained with the youth team and Leeds made an offer to take him on loan. Then he is back on the bench for Brum. Has anything even been officially said about the club captaincy? The most logical thing to assume is that Mills didn't like being dropped and had a falling out with NP after being dropped, Warnock tried to capitalise on the situation, but all is now forgiven and he is back in the squad. NPs reaction in the press and the rumours suggest a whole lot more, but based on the facts it may just be a storm in a teacup.
broughtonblue Posted 16 March 2012 Posted 16 March 2012 Heard today his car was seen very near stokes stadium, could be something in it or he could have been visiting that waterworld place.

Corky Posted 16 March 2012 Posted 16 March 2012 Heard today his car was seen very near stokes stadium, could be something in it or he could have been visiting that waterworld place. It was very near Reading's stadium last week.
z-layrex Posted 16 March 2012 Posted 16 March 2012 He's a massive cnut and we all hate him to put it simply, he knows it too. We've had enough troubles the last couple of years without people like him around. Thanks for the kind words though chap, enjoy the good run you're having.
