broughtonblue Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 It was very near Reading's stadium last week. Can't possibly think why that was, are we playing Stoke then?
seenitall Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 You know when Leicester want to sign an expensive player next year and he tells us to **** off because there is no point being an expensive player for a bunch of ingrates, it will probably be the muppets on this board responsible for their lack of enthusiasm. Does that make you feel proud?
norwegianfox Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 This Mills bashing is just stupid. He's still our player isn't he?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Maybe time to give him another chance after yet another poor defensive performance
Mack Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 I'm sorry but Mills is not the answer to our defensive frailties.
LCFC BEAST Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 I'm sorry but Mills is not the answer to our defensive frailties. Then who is? If he's just waiting there he might as well be given ago!
accessory Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 I doubt we'll see him in a City shirt again. The fact he couldn't even make the bench yesterday (Pearson preferred Tom Hopper - a striker!) suggests relations between him and the manager have reached the part of no return.
lcfcbaby Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Then who is? If he's just waiting there he might as well be given ago! Do you not remember when we played: Pelletier SSL Morgan Konchesky That worked stunningly well we hardly conceded goals until konchesky got the red card! That back 4 seemed the most solid it has been all season!
Charl91 Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Do you not remember when we played: Pelletier SSL Morgan Konchesky That worked stunningly well we hardly conceded goals until konchesky got the red card! That back 4 seemed the most solid it has been all season! True, but it was only 2/3 games without conceding to be fair - we've had the same kind of run with Mills + Bamba

lcfcbaby Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 True, but it was only 2/3 games without conceding to be fair - we've had the same kind of run with Mills + Bamba Yes but if it was working until one got replaced we could at least try it again? It has yet to fail us!
Burmesefox Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 I would try my hardest to keep Mills and make up if I was NP. Mills is a decent player - just had a rough start. Plenty of players take time to bed in and I would introduce him back in to the fold. I'm not sure about Morgan or Bamba. My back four would be Pelts Mills SSL Konch,. Just feel Bamba is too kamikaze and Morgan is a bit slow/cumbersome.
broughtonblue Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Heard he wasn't even at the stadium for yesterday's match, a mate said he was seen watching Oadby Town instead!
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 I'm confused at peeps who want Mills back in the team for his 'defensive abilities'. All the off the field stuff, whatever that was, aside... I don't think he was a particularly good centre back and don't think I did right from when I first saw him. I think the others are as good as Mills, if not better. However, I'm all for second chances so if Pearson plays him I'll support him.
flowwolf Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Lets face it if we hadn't paid all that silly money for him no one would be still talking about him. If we had got him on a free or a loan he would never had got back into the side after his first four matches. Forget him he is history although a very expensive piece of history.
Happy Fox Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 I hope we can recoup some money from his sale but we will be lucky to get a £1m!
HitchinFox Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 I hope we can recoup some money from his sale but we will be lucky to get a £1m! I don't know, maybe I'm overtly optimistic here but before joining us, Mills had a reputation of being a dead set Premiership defender. The fact that it is due to a personality clash that he hasn't featured this year should work in our favour - if we do decide to offload him. Clubs will still see him as a very good player (rightly or wrongly). Sure, we won't get our £3.5m back (or whatever it was) but I don't think we'll lose out that much. Why he was excellent for Reading and shite for us I don't know. Got bigheaded? Thought he had made it?
THEFATBASTARD Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Heard he wasn't even at the stadium for yesterday's match, a mate said he was seen watching Oadby Town instead! thats funny, I heard he was playing the lead in the king and I in the west end..

Simmo86 Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 I hope we can recoup some money from his sale but we will be lucky to get a £1m! Jeez.....
