Happy Fox Posted 28 March 2012 Posted 28 March 2012 We made them an offer they couldn't refuse. If he hadn't joined us there were at least 2 Premier clubs enquiring about him. In the end the lure of playing for his hometown club (he's the ONLY Leicester-born player in the current squad) was too strong, though a very generous long-term contract didn't do any harm either. What has that got to do with it he came here for the money (£30,000 + a week) and Sven that is the only reason, I don't believe this bollocks about supporting us as a kid because if he did he wouldn't have treated the club like a bag of shit.
kingfox Posted 28 March 2012 Posted 28 March 2012 that's your opinion, and mine is the opposite, Mills is the best defender we have, albeit an appalling attitude, but the best defender lol lol Jesus Christ Superstar, the best defender I think I have just tasted sick in my mouth You call hoofing a ball and giving passes away good defending. Yep brilliant thought not idiot
kingfox Posted 28 March 2012 Posted 28 March 2012 Are you for real??? Mills didn't even play against Millwall, he was suspended. If you remember, it was SSL who was dominated by Henderson. Sorry my mistake it was against his former team Reading. Where he was all over the place, played an absolute stinker and started blaming other players when it was his fault.
norwegianfox Posted 28 March 2012 Posted 28 March 2012 Sorry my mistake it was against his former team Reading. Where he was all over the place, played an absolute stinker and started blaming other players when it was his fault. And so Mills was dropped for the next match against Bristol City. Do you think the Bamba and St. Ledger did a better job in that match?
Libertine Dream Posted 28 March 2012 Posted 28 March 2012 Sorry my mistake it was against his former team Reading. Where he was all over the place, played an absolute stinker and started blaming other players when it was his fault. Thats worse, you hated a player after just 2 games. Suppose you dislike Marshall, Beckford, SSL etc because they started off poorly aswell.
Soar Fox Posted 28 March 2012 Posted 28 March 2012 If he has done what people are making out he has, why hasn't he been fined by the club?
Out Foxed Posted 28 March 2012 Posted 28 March 2012 i have changed my opinion of giving him the benefit of the doubt to thinking that he is unequivocally a grade a cvnt
kingfox Posted 28 March 2012 Posted 28 March 2012 Thats worse, you hated a player after just 2 games. Suppose you dislike Marshall, Beckford, SSL etc because they started off poorly aswell. Nope I didn't. I could tell in pre season that Mills wasn't all that, the hoof ball shit he did peed me off. His overall play not much better. His attitude sucks. Marshall started off rubbish, and needed time, new position we are starting to see the best out of him. Beckford has been shocking, but he is a good player and now he is starting scoring. St Ledger massive fan, even from his mistake against Bristol City, I could see he had class. Was capable of finding midfielders, bringing the ball out of defence and his heading accuracy was very good. Mills don't have the qualities St Ledger posses, Mills finds doing all those things mentioned very difficult. Mills is a t**t, and when he leaves I will happily have a one man party to celebrate his departure.

How is his distribution any worse than Morgan's? And dont being price into it, shouldnt affect your judgement on him as a footballer.

Its all rumour and heresay but IF he is pissing the club about like is claimed he must be a totally arrogant twat. The faster we can offload him the better.. Or so it would seem anyway.

He played in the Real Madrid game which was shown on TV. Remember him trying to score from a corner. Giving everything to try to score and ended up injured. I thought he was very poitive in that game.
Kitchandro Posted 28 March 2012 Posted 28 March 2012 DJ Campbell.. loaned to Derby and sold to Blackpool. Got 13odd Premiership goals last season and moved onto QPR. Another Pearson mistake You really are an idiot. DJ Campbell

Its all rumour and heresay but IF he is pissing the club about like is claimed he must be a totally arrogant twat. The faster we can offload him the better.. Or so it would seem anyway. No I don't like him. First of all he was making awful back passes, one against Madrid and against Rotherham, which were pretty damn shocking. Then he started playing poorly all round, then his awful attitude started to show. The game against Reading and his performance and attitude really upset me and made me frustrated and angry, I never seen anything like that from one of our players before, especially as he was captain aswell. Mills just gets it and lumps it, when he tries to pass he gives it away, his distribution like someone said is awful aswell. I have only found one thing that Mills is good at, and that's he isn't scared of throwing his body into danger. However St Ledger, Morgan and Bamba do exactly that, and are better skilled footballers. I just don't like all this hoof ball shit he does, and now along with his attitude really grates me. I was appalled by the ovation he got against Birmingham when he was warming up, he didn't deserve anything like that. Despite the money who cares, he is a poor player with limited footballing skills. I will be glad when he leaves, I will do a little victory parade round my living room, then probably have a one man party.
crisp packet Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 The writing was on the wall when we paid ( whatever we paid for him , as lets face it NO one knows ??) , next there was reading fans saying he ain't all that ?? 'hoof ball' etc .... people was expecting the kaiser Now something has happened ?!?! What though ? Who knows , rumours , rumours ,rumours which is all hearsay AGAIN!!! Until something official comes out , transfer listed etc ...... He has been dropped end of!
Leicsroyal Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 Still waiting to see one Reading fan say something good about him... and he was hardly the reason they're up near the top... they're better & higher than ever now. Not going to give you all 'we told you so' rubbish. At the time you bought Mills, despite most fans dislike of him, many realised it was abig loss to us. Fortunately this year we have had one of our youngsters step up who has proved to already be a better player than Mills and will probably win our player of the year. The ironic thing is that if you hadn't bought Mills and he had stayed with us, we would have had pages and pages of a thread slating him, he's just one of those players that can't seem to have a positive relationship with the fans and also in your case the manager. From an outsider looking in it was a combination of three things that have sent Mills totally off the rails. 1. The over inflated fee (whatever it was) 2. Making him captain 3. Sven leaving (who was the only person in the country who rated him enough to combine points one and two) Unfortunately for Mills he played against us in your first home game of the season, the away fans visibly got to him and he looked like a conference player out there. He was consequently dropped. That must be one of the worst starts a captain has ever made at any club. I know they are you rivals so sorry to mention the name but I feel it is quite apt in this case. I once asked John McGovern how Cloughie would have dealt with a bad boy Collymore at Forest. McGovern said " Cloughie would have walked straight into the Chairmans office and said 'I don't care what he is worth, he ain't worth disrupting my dressing room, get rid of him' Good luck for the remainder of the season. Nobody seems to want those play off places, still plenty of chance.
shade Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 you don't blame a spoilt child for being spoilt. I don't blame mills IF he has got an ego, I blame our club for paying him stupid money, and Nigel Pearson for not being able to handle him correctly. that's what worries me about NP, he strikes me as the exact kind of guy you're all claiming mills is, arrogant, aloof, boorish and stubborn. if something major went down, then fair enough, but if Pearson has just seen his arse, then I'm afraid that is poor management. SAF could have dealt with it.

Raw Dykes Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 and rooney? Rooney's far and away more valuable to Man Utd than Mills is to us, and I suspect SAF could see that the problem there was to do with Rooney's agent and not the player himself.
kingfox Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 Saw him in town today Did you spit on the floor next to him? Or stick your middle finger up at him?
