MarkHowieLCFC Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 No surprises there then. Could we need any more quick wingers? Townsends looked good...
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 I know it was a tap in but where are the beckford haters?
blueredswed Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Shit refs, we always get shit refs. Penalty my ar5e. All time refferees ...? Perhaps players will learn and let NP do this! If not we don´t have in premiere to do..... and just now we do´nt!
TheStig Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 No surprises there then. Could we need any more quick wingers? Yes but this doesn`t help if the midfielders are just moving the ball around at leisurely pace with no creativity and nobody in the attacking midfield and strikers "run" for the team. We seem to lack a system of play and there is no structure. Just ball moving. Aaand whilst writing - we score - Nemesis!!!
Salieri Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Yes Jermaine! Great ball in from Kennedy, nice effort from Nugent and there was Beckford to (almost miss) the rebound.
MarkHowieLCFC Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Surprised the ref didn't disallow it for it being a tap in...
cc_star Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 We're awful. Roll on next year.... provided the Thai's ain't fooked off. Yeah, because they've been absolutely awesome, mortgaging the very future of the club for a short term win.... which has failed catastrophically on an almost tragic scale.
Pegosteve Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 He nearly missed!!!! Yes but he didn't be positive!!
Kitchandro Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Yes but this doesn`t help if the midfielders are just moving the ball around at leisurely pace with no creativity and nobody in the attacking midfield and strikers "run" for the team. We seem to lack a system of play and there is no structure. Just ball moving. Aaand whilst writing - we score - Nemesis!!! We just need someone who's going to take players on and create spaces in the final third, whether that's out wide, in the middle or both. Otherwise we're always going to struggle to open them up. You're right there is no structure, just a bunch of players who don't really have a big strength that they can make an impact on the game with. We never move the ball quick enough, Wellens has slowed and Danns is the same, he's never struck me as much of a passer. And neither are particularly good and taking players one. Neither are Gallagher, Marshall or Drinkwater. Dyer is the only one who can actually make something himself but he doesn't run at his full back as much as he should, plus he's technically useless. And yes we must up the tempo too, but I'm not sure our players are capable of passing well at a high tempo.
undey Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 I think with Konch in for Kennedy this would be our best back 4..
cc_star Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 howard would have missed it Howard would have been busy abusing the ref
HoustonFox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 We don't really seem to have much penetration and just play it across their (admittedly deep) back four. Need. More. Pace.
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 I think with Konch in for Kennedy this would be our best back 4.. Agreed
