cc_star Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Midfield has been woeful all season, so we resort to Gally, Wellens and Dyer?? Yet we signed 17 central midfielders last August. Come back Yuki, all is forgiven. Dyer has been excellent since being recalled, Gally was doing well before his injury & Wellens is up & down along with 9 other players (excluding Kasper & Konch who always seem to be good or better) You do remember Sven reverted to playing Wellens, King & Gally too as his much championed replacements didn't really replace anyone... I suppose that's somehow Pearson's or Wellens fault?
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Hope St. Ledger is playing right back, bamba looked edgy against Derby, Guess Peltier rested for sunday? Not sure about that... I reckon he's more likely been dropped Why would Pelts be rested and not the others? Unless he's injured?
StanSP Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Morgan not even in the squad, Mills on the bench He's playing. CB.
stillwater Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Well done Nigel, you have really put the boot in and mixed things up !!!!
MrSpaM Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 He's playing. CB. My mistake Still think Marshall should be gettin a start ahead of Gally though
Guest BlueBrett Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Marshall has been poor really so far. Like everyone else though I'm going to cover my arse by saying he'll probably go on to be class. Beginnings of a reconciliation between Mills and NP?
Leicfox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 don't believe half the stuff people tell you because they talk crap im just sick of people going on about it when no one knows if it's true only what they wanted to see Christ sake buzzy you really get that wound up over Mills don't you, Are you a relative of his or something ?
Kitchandro Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Why did we sign Drinky and Marshall again, to sit on the bench? Some ruthless changes would of been nice, like a midfield that actually included Drinky and Marshall and with Schlupp up top and hopper on the bench. First tuesday game I haven't been able to get to this season, we seem to play fairly well midweek so lets see! Marshall has been playing and has done very little. Did Wellens actually have a shocker at Reading? If so then fair enough, Drinkwater should start in his proper position.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Well done Nigel, you have really put the boot in and mixed things up !!!! I'm pleased he's not played a weakened side tonight with an eye on Sunday.
cc_star Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Gutted not playing tonight lil thigh injury kept me out, but anyway big 3 points for the lad #comeonufoxes @Pelts_86
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Not sure about that... I reckon he's more likely been dropped Why would Pelts be rested and not the others? Unless he's injured? He's injured apparently
cc_star Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Personally can't believe Beckford is starting Shocker, week after every single fvcking week (except for about 3 games in a row following the Forest game) and about 1st name on the team sheet Manager's fave or something
mattsmith74 Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Pelts confirmed on Twitter he has a slight thigh injury. As for rest. I'd have gone with Marshall and DD as well as Schlupp for Gally, Wellens and Beckford. Simply for a bit of variety and nothing to do with form of others (well maybe Beckford). As for Mills best to adopt the "what will be will be approach". Too much time and effort to analyse it all. Big game. Need a performance ahead of Sunday. I'm going for 2-1 win. Nugent and Bamba.
Kitchandro Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Personally can't believe Beckford is starting Shocker, week after every single fvcking week (except for about 3 games in a row following the Forest game) and about 1st name on the team sheet Manager's fave or something He did score in our last home game. I would have liked to see him dropped though. I can only imagine Nige sees what he CAN do (more in training than anywhere else) and keeps hoping for a big performance.

Careful... I gotta feelin he's gonna have a good un tonight.
Salieri Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 I can see Burke and Townsend causing our fullbacks problems tonight.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 I can see Burke and Townsend causing our fullbacks problems tonight. Spot on Salieri.. Both very very tricky wingers and I'd be happy to see both in our squad.
Captain... Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Personally can't believe Beckford is starting Shocker, week after every single fvcking week (except for about 3 games in a row following the Forest game) and about 1st name on the team sheet Manager's fave or something Would you prefer Howard? Or Schlupp who has hardly taken the chances he has had since coming back from injury, and wasn't exactly commanding a first team place before. Beckford will be starting against Chelsea so should start tonight, if we lose to Chelsea then ring the changes bring in Moore/Hopper/Schlupp/Taft, but while the cup still remains a possibility we need to get the best out of our best players.

Our first half performance was described by Pearson himself as "awful" and yet he's kept the two worst offenders.

Salieri Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Spot on Salieri.. Both very very tricky wingers and I'd be happy to see both in our squad. If we had Peltier and especially Konch in then i'd be a tiny bit less worried but with Kennedy (short on games for us) and St.Ledger (not in his favoured position) I fear the worst. Ah well, you never know with Leicester, we might win and even Beckford might bag a goal.
Corky Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Hang on, I thought Beckford wasn't really rated by Pearson and he'd be shown the door in the summer? Now he's the teacher's pet.
Guest ttfn Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 but while the cup still remains a possibility we need to get the best out of our best players. How on earth is Beckford one of our best players? He's not even in the top 10 at the club.
