kingfox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Tonight's Team, 3 changes Schmeichel, Bamba, St Ledger, Morgan, Kennedy, Gallagher, Danns, Wellens, Dyer, Beckford, Nugent Subs - Mills , Marshall, Drinkwater, Schlupp, Howard
StanSP Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Mills on the bench. Wow. He must have done some serious grovelling to Pearson to put him back in the squad. Still not happy given reports that he apparently celebrated in the Reading end when they scored all their goals on Saturday...
Legend_in_blue Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Despite the changes, we still have Wellens in midfield. Fantastic. I'm off down there now. Can't wait for the entertainment to begin.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Hope St. Ledger is playing right back, bamba looked edgy against Derby, Guess Peltier rested for sunday?
buzzy Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Mills on the bench. Wow. He must have done some serious grovelling to Pearson to put him back in the squad. Still not happy given reports that he apparently celebrated in the Reading end when they scored all their goals on Saturday... shut up about mills celebrating it really his getting on my nerves still awaiting photo that someone has taken
Legend_in_blue Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Wellens. Wellens. Wellens. Wellens. Wellens. Wellens. :scarf: :scarf: Fantastic changes.
Babylon Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Mills on the bench. Wow. He must have done some serious grovelling to Pearson to put him back in the squad. Still not happy given reports that he apparently celebrated in the Reading end when they scored all their goals on Saturday... He was said to have clapped, there is a big difference between clapping and celebrating.
StanSP Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 shut up about mills celebrating it really his getting on my nerves still awaiting photo that someone has taken Don't tell me to shut up. If you read again closely, I said 'reports' and 'apparently'. Therefore I don't know if it's true or not. Calm yourself. He was said to have clapped, there is a big difference between clapping and celebrating. Was just going by what I had heard, Babylon! At least you don't tell me to shut up !
AjcW Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Why did we sign Drinky and Marshall again, to sit on the bench? Some ruthless changes would of been nice, like a midfield that actually included Drinky and Marshall and with Schlupp up top and hopper on the bench. First tuesday game I haven't been able to get to this season, we seem to play fairly well midweek so lets see!
steveherbe Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Midfield has been woeful all season, so we resort to Gally, Wellens and Dyer?? Yet we signed 17 central midfielders last August. Come back Yuki, all is forgiven.
cc_star Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Still can't see how Wellens is the root of all evil... about 9 players seem to be intermittently woeful but that's his fault?
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Marshall should be on the wing, not Gallagher.
ian_marshall Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 shut up about mills celebrating it really his getting on my nerves still awaiting photo that someone has taken Totally agree. To be fair unless someone can show me a video showing Reading scoring and then him applauding, any allegations are pure conjecture. Any clown can show snippets of photos portraying a scenario but without solid evidence it's all BS as far as i'm concerned.
HoustonFox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 He was said to have clapped, there is a big difference between clapping and celebrating. I would have clapped their first! Quick chuck me off the forum. Pantsil must really be out if he didn't make it tonight.
cc_star Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Marshall should be on the wing, not Gallagher. Why, Gally was playing well before his injury, Marshall stepped in had 1 good game followed by 1 or 2 poor games then was dropped... Think he'll go on to be a very good player for us... in time
Dames Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Nigel Pearson is the most uninspiring manager in Football today. He's also worse for favorites than Sven was.
AjcW Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Tuesday home games this season. 2-0 2-0 4-0 Lets keep it going .
buzzy Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Don't tell me to shut up. If you read again closely, I said 'reports' and 'apparently'. Therefore I don't know if it's true or not. Calm yourself. Was just going by what I had heard, Babylon! At least you don't tell me to shut up ! don't believe half the stuff people tell you because they talk crap im just sick of people going on about it when no one knows if it's true only what they wanted to see
Captain... Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Tonight's Team, 3 changes Schmeichel, Bamba, St Ledger, Morgan, Kennedy, Gallagher, Danns, Wellens, Dyer, Beckford, Nugent Subs - Mills , Marshall, Drinkwater, Schlupp, Howard Am I being thick, I can only see 2 changes to the starting 11, or are you including Mills on the bench as a change? Surprised Mills is on the bench, we have 4 CBs in the squad and no RB, surely Pantsil would be better on the bench. Unless NP wants Mills to experience the wrath of the KP, I still don't get the whole Reading incident. I have had the misfortune to sit with opposition fans and when they scored I dutifully stood up and clapped and sat on my hands when we scored, it doesn't sound like he was leaping around and cheering. I guess he wanted to sit with his brother didn't think he would be welcome in the Leicester end (wonder why?), didn't want to sit in the corporate boxes, wasn't in the squad. A stupid thing to do, and not the first for him, but I'm not going to go to the lengths of some on here to persecute him.
kingfox Posted 13 March 2012 Author Posted 13 March 2012 They said 3 changes captain shrapnel so I put it as 3. Not happy about Mills being in the squad, will vent my anger tonight, but I have a season ticket so I might aswell go.
