lcfcbaby Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 As I said, it's a big obstacle to overcome and I don't blame anyone for not buying a ST for any reason at all, they're very expensive and it's a huge commitment. My point was that this is the fairest way to distribute away tickets. Yes it is the fairest way providing you live in Leicester!
BrummieFOX Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Yes it is the fairest way providing you live in Leicester! No it's just the fairest way full stop. What do you propose otherwise? I don't live in Leicester by the way.
lcfcbaby Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 No it's just the fairest way full stop. What do you propose otherwise? I don't live in Leicester by the way. I gathered but you don't live particularly far in terms of access to Leicester isn't hard from Birmingham! I propose no other way as it is fair to the majority of Leicester fans.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Why should people who don't have STs have 1st choice over those who pay hundreds of pounds in order to have a ST? Its the fairest way, as is the priority system points. When you move back to Leicester, you can then get a ST and you'll have first dibs on tickets.

They shouldn't have 1st choice but they aren't taken into consideration at all! Yes trust me when I move back to Leicester I will be a season ticket holder!
Kitchandro Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 So are they on general sale tomorrow if there are any left?
lcfcbaby Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 So are they on general sale tomorrow if there are any left? No they aren't going on general sale!

lcfcbaby Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 How can they when they only went on sale about 4 today!? There will be some returns! I am sure there will be some for tomorrow!
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Yeah but I'm going at 9 so there won't be any then will there?
lcfcbaby Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Yeah but I'm going at 9 so there won't be any then will there? probably not! you could always ring up later though!
Karljohn Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Players and officials may return some, if they do then its usually a couple of days before, worth a try again tomorrow/friday.
billyn88 Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 After trying almost every avenue possible I think I'm admitting defeat on this one. I appreciated the guy at the TO giving it to me straight over the phone saying it probably wasn't worth bothering ringing up again before sunday without a season ticket, I didn't appreciate earlier being told there weren't any only once I said I wasn't a season ticket holder! As I'm London based, I even tried asking the Chelsea TO if they got back any final returned tickets from LCFC and sold them from there on the day but they have a policy of no sales to away fans so the pub in North London it is! As for the debate about priority, season ticket holders is absolutely fair. The bottom line is, we can all say how loyal and committed weare/how loud we are at games, but for the club all that matters for loyalty is cold hard cash and ST holders are investing in the club every year. I had an ST while I lived in Leicester but now I'm here I generally go to 7 or 8 aways and a few home games or so a season. Important to remember that away league games add nothing to the club's coffers as well. Due to my location and other factors (long distance relationship), I decided against having an ST while here, so its only fair that some who choose to prioritise the club deserve first choice, your location is irrelevant. I'm not gonna judge anyone using someone else's client ref number either, If I had the chance, I'd have got 2 that way as well and I think there's very few who wouldn't have.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I've a reference number that will possibly get you up to three tickets. Pm me if interested and I'll give you my phone number to explain
cambridgefox Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 im not a STH due to distance and wife and kids getting a monk on if i did,i take my chance on getting a ticket which is fair, and have managed 5 aways this season, and not usually a problem.im skiing from Saturday so wouldnt be able to go anyway, but what i would say is the OS stated at the start that they go on sale to members Tue 13th and general sale Wed 14th.Why should they not be able to get a ticket if this was stated earlier its then turned around that its tough luck on STH who didnt get one in time.

If you'd pre-booked your away tickets at the beginning of the season then you wouldn't have had to stand anywhere. If the club has previously stated a date for general sale then that is when general sales should begin.
