There are lot of threads knocking about talking about individual players and whether or not we should keep hold of them.

I thought it would be interesting to collate this and get some sort of consensus on the 'maybe' players.

So, who do you want to keep and who do you want to get rid of come the summer?

The poll excludes players who we'd obviously want to keep (Schmeichel, Danns, Nugent, Konchesky etc) and players who have been recently signed so are unlikely to leave (Marshall, Morgan, Drinkwater).

Howard, Pantsil, Waghorn, Moussa, Tunchev, Vassell should go IMO.

I don't rate a lot of the others but they are good enough for the bench/back up if not the first team. These include Peltier, Wellens, Gallagher, King and Dyer.

We need 3 or 4 big quality signings in the right areas to really make an impact.

Kept most of those, Howard and Vassell are past it and Pantsil just is not going to make it here.

Gally and Bamba I didn't put in either of those sections really. I like Gally when he is at his best, but when he isn't he can be really poor, he is so frustrating. Think I would keep him as a sqaud player though.

Not a massive fan of Bamba because of his positional awareness and tendency to do silly things that can be costly. However again he is a good sqaud player.

Difficult decision, I do not envy NFP.

The only 2 I voted to "get rid of" were Howard & Tunch because, respectfully, they no longer serve a purpose on the pitch for us. I'd like to see Tunch stay on as a defensive coach, and maybe Howard to teach the lads to use their presence.

I still say hold on to Howard for 1 more year, then he'll be eligible for a testimonial and, all going well, he can retire in a big party of a match to celebrate us getting into the premier league!

Hey, a man can dream...

Can't really vote on this as it is a bit subjective, Yes I would suggest Howard and Vassell are past their best so would expect us to clear them of the wage bill, Mills if his attitude is that bad then he should be shipped out, but at what cost?

As for the rest of the squad, well I think it maybe best if Gally moves on but the others, well I know people will have their own opinions on all players, but for me I wouldn't want to see the likes of Bamba or King move on but what if someone offers £2-5 million for either of them, then of course you would have to judge it on merit, maybe we don't need to sell but what if moving Bamba on allows you to bring in another centre half, a left winger and a right back?

I would still like to see waghorn get a chance to push Nugent and Beckford for a place (wouldn't sell beckford personally, NP has got more out of him than Sven ever did)

Also I just can't get my head around Paintsil playing for his country but not getting a chance with us, not as if Pelts is a world beater himself, but I guess NP just doesn't fancy him, so again move him on to clear the wages.

We have some players who have 1 good game in every 15 so we should part company with them.

I'm talking about Dyer, Gallagher, Howard, Wellens.

.

Bit harsh on Dyer - I think he has been fairly consistent (in a good way) in the latter half of the season.

Many peeps have commented about 'what does Beckford have to do' to change people's mind?

I'd say exactly the same about Lloyd Dyer....

Are people still insisting upon getting rid of the only player with real pace in the team? We have seen him this season (and its more frequently than one good game in 15!!) lol terrorise full backs, and this creates space for the two strikers to exploit. And he has scored some important goals. If he hadn't buried that finish against Dull at a crucial time in the game, the result could have been very different IMO.

Poor Llloyd... great pro, has put everything in since getting back into the side, and some still want to offload him?

For me Dyer should be starting on the bench good player to bring on later in a game when the opposition fullbacks are running out of steam, we need real quality in that LW position.

I loath Howard, he reminds me more of a tree than a CF and he is deadwood, BUT I do respect your idea and like your dream but should the club shell out another years wages just to achieve this ?

Waghorn, Gally, Wellens, Dyer all need replacements Tun should go maybe with a few other fringe players

Is this me being a bit thick or too logical but why two votes. Surley if you vote to keep a player that means anyone you don't vote for you want rid of.

And if you vote to get rid of some the rest you don't vote for you want to keep. ?
