Anyway, he's long past his sell-by date but I still love him for his goals against Leeds. In the league and the Carling Cup. Far from a legend, but certainly a cult hero for me, just for that famous League One goal. Hopefully, he's shipped out in the summer and we bring in Heskey.

He's possibly the most under-rated player we have had at the club in my years of supporting. Yes, he's not the player he was, and neither is anyone else of his age.

It seems odd that it would start at a point where he's being openly (and unfairly) criticised by fans and at a point in the match where the frustration coming out of the Kop was audible. STEEEEEEEEEVE and BOOOOOOOOOOO sound quite different too. On an unrelated note, there's a tosser across from me in the Kop who was hurling abuse at players from both teams, Steve included, for all 90 minutes. The twat at one point wished Camp would "end up like their chairman." As much as we obviously don't "like" forest, that was disguisting. This inbred scummer has a particular hatred for Lee Peltier, or as he calls him, "You Lazy Black Twat." Racist thug has been hurling abuse at players for weeks now, and I can't believe he's never been done for it. Watch this space, because I'll try to get some footage of him at the Doncaster match.

Am I the only one bored to tears of the same old shit you post in every single thread, victimising any player you dislike and never saying a bad one against anyone else in our side? Not victimizing, I agree the statement I have made does appear to be repetitive and does seem to suggest I have some sort of vendetta against them I respect they have had their uses over the past 3 years but we need to move on, they are not going to help us in our promotion push ,without them in the side we are doing far better it is not a coincidence is it?

You don't need evidence, you've got hundreds of witnesses with ears. I was at Palace away pre season and one of the chaps off here had a fellow Leicester fan ejected for being a complete cúnt.
coolhandfox Posted 30 March 2012 Posted 30 March 2012 I think Steve has a place in our squad; we have our two main strikers in Beckford and Nugent with Schlupp and Waghorn as extra options and backup. Other young strikers at the club Hopper et al need to go out on loan and get games under their belts not sitting on our squad/bench getting no game time. Steve gives the extra option if we have a couple of injuries, he will be cheap and only on a year’s contact. Pearson knows him well and knows he will not disrupt the squad if he’s not playing.

I really doubt Howard could last the full 90 minutes anymore. If Peterborough don't have any centre halves, then they might well struggle against any strikers. I do think Nugent could do with a rest, so I think giving Schlupp a start might be a good idea. Maybe bring Howard on towards the end if we need a goal.
