What now for the Saint?

What now for St Ledger?

After an impressive run in the team he seems to have been sacrificed for the recent goals conceded.

Right or wrong?

All our CB have strengths and weaknesses do who will NP go with as his long term CB pairing?

As its the olympic year, Discus!

Dropped for 2 game + won 2 games = right decision.

Good player who is more than capable of playing at a higher level, he will get back in the squad sooner or later.

You have too pick the team on form he will be back in soon and will be in squad next year can see us selling:

Bamba,Tunchev and mills

And bringing in:

Gerrard and Chester

Which should then leave us with Morgan,SSL,Gerrard and Chester!!

SSL was unlucky to be dropped - but he has a good attitude (despite a slight wobble earlier in the season).

I hear the door is still open to Matt Mills - depending on attitude - but a summer sale looks the most obvious bet.

Morgan SSL, Bamba will be sold

as if we will get rid of morgan! he is solid and we only just spent 1 million on him

I never said that! the guy said which do you think is the best cb pairing and i said "morgan ssl, bamba will be sold". If you read it properly and pay attention to the comma, you'd realise that i never said we'd sell them, only bamba

If you'd written it properly perhaps he'd have understood.

I will be more gutted if we sell Bombscare than when we let Abe go. Love him, genuinely makes the game more entertaining. Every club needs a Bamba. Occasionally makes me shit myself but I don't go football to be bored and I have done so much this year.

Never when he plays. Comedy gold but rarely really at the cost of goals.

I think st ledger has his eyes on the european championships and wants to avoid injuries at all costs and has asked if he can play less games just in case.

hope this is the case, would be gutted if he left

SSL was shocking against Forest and Posh whereas I thought Bamba did a good job.

Right decision IMO.

Clean sheet.

Check out Bambas defending for Jason Scotlands stike on Monday....

And all the other great defence he put up without the help of the non-existent midfield to save us from conceding many more.

SSL is a squad player, he'll get his euro championship time now thnks to Leicester and then he can warm the bench again next season and play in rotation.

Bamba >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>all others

He was at fault for Ipswich's goal. I know you keep saying it FIF but I just don't see it. As well as being a liability himself, he puts others in the shit by doing so. I appreciate his skills and if he kept switched on and made better decisions he'd be a great player but he just loses concentration far too often for a Championship CB.
