acooling08 Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 I think today just proves that we have already given up
shen Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 At least we're not the only ones frustrated at our team. Imagine being a Boro fan right now...
Vardinhio Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 sigh, what a damp squid. Burnley didn't have to work hard for that at all....
onecapwonder Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 On the plus side a real money making opportunity exists since the world at large seems not to realise we are awful against bad sides. As a result you can lay Leicester at home against rubbish sides at 1.3 quite often (very low odds) Put a small bet on the draw as well and you tend to do alright. About sums us up really, we're shite and no ones noticed..... and Blackpool have scored, saves the Mercury a "we're still in it"
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 I think today just proves that we have already given up We've never got going all season. We really are pathetic
trabuch Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 sigh, what a damp squid. Burnley didn't have to work hard for that at all.... The Thais prefer dry squid.
The People's Hero Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Damp Squid! I should hope a squid was damp! Its damp squib!
dave_the_fox Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 sigh, what a damp squid. Burnley didn't have to work hard for that at all.... Damp Squid: The top 10 misquoted phrases in Britain
Haydos Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 sigh, what a damp squid. Burnley didn't have to work hard for that at all.... Firstly, damp squid, really? Secondly, did you really expect much else?
wurmer Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 We are sh*t. Nothing more to say - NP can say what he wants, I don't care, he's failed to get consistency from this bunch of players. Here's to next season - hope the owners feel it's worth investing more, and not just collecting their 8% until they can shift us on to someone else..
cardifflee Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 That comment always really annoys me. "it's the worst team in X years..." Are you only counting years that you want to? You are welcome to your opinion but can you please explain to me how this team is more lacklustre than the team that got us relegated to league 1? Or the season before that when we finished 19th? Or the season before that where we finished 16th? We were 9th at kick off today. Yes when we were shit and everyone singing ollies army every game we were shit when we got rid we shown some passion and if you read my post correctly i said worst half i have ever seen NOT SEASON muppet
dave the caveman Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 At least we're not the only ones frustrated at our team. Imagine being a Boro fan right now... jesus, that actually made me feel a bit better
shen Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 About sums us up really, we're shite and no ones noticed..... and Blackpool have scored, saves the Mercury a "we're still in it" Good. That'll give some others a chance to impress in the final two games.
lcfcsnow Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Everything needs freshening up next season, most importantly the manager and his favourites need to leave.
purpleronnie Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 jesus, that actually made me feel a bit better edit.
cc_star Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Everything needs freshening up next season, most importantly the manager and his favourites need to leave. Beckford & co? Possibly Gallagher 28 starts 8 goals from the wing and has had played with a back injury for half those games Beckford 33 starts 8 goals and plays right in front of the opposition goal It's a team game, collectively they're not good enough... coming up with bullshit without looking at facts makes you look silly
Callabinho Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Truly awful, looked like they were all focused on their holidays! Pearson's method is a tired one at least last season we were entertaining, played good football and IMO worth the money. Team needs some quality in it, and proper quality not runners.

Players like Marshall? I agree, roll on the summer.
lcfcsnow Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 What about all that nonsense prematch the players do? High fives and chesting each other today, comical really. You're a bunch of overpaid underachievers taking us and the club for fools.
Callabinho Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Players like Marshall? I agree, roll on the summer. Marshall, yes is a gem! More players like him who are just as able in their positions! But can we attract them? we are a making a bit of a mockery of ourselves as of late!
morris1234 Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 With all these depressing post match callers I feel I'm missing something.... Ermmmm when was it made law that Leicester city fc must get promoted no matter what. Anybody would think we were in doncasters position, we should be quite happy with that season, not the way we played at times or the inconstancy, but the fact we were so inconsistent in probably the hardest championship ever, and only missing out on play offs by a few points is quite good. With a management change half way trough after a whole squad turn around, puts it all into perspective really, regardless of what the owners wanted. Can we not have promotion as an aim and not an expectation
