Moment of the Season

Norwich away - absolute raptures when Nugent scored.

Cov away opening day gets a mention. I remember walking out of the ground in the sunshine, thinking this is finally our season. How wrong could I be?

Gallagher's scorchers v Palace. My best man was visiting from oop north and he also had the privilege of witnessing these two wonder goals. How quickly the boo boys forget when it suits their agenda.

A special shout out to when Middlesbrough went 2-1 up the King Power a few months back.

The crowd were singing that "we love you" song and when Boro' netted their second our fans just carried on singing and didn't miss a bit. It was a great moment to be part of and probably one of the best home atmospheres of the season.

I'd still have been livid if Jermaine hadn't bagged a goal at the end though!

Another great crowd moment was when Kasper saved the penalty at the Coventry game. The standard jeers as their man went to take it turning into the biggest cheers I've ever heard when probably our best player of the season saved ANOTHER penalty!

I suppose I should be thanking you guys for these and not so much the team, because it was the crowd that made all of these moments special.

Cheers Blue Army!!!

St ledgers cross to Mills for the 2nd vs Southampton away.

Dyers goal vs Barnsley at home.

Nugents vs Derby at home.

Pearson returning. Or, one of the few games I actually went to, Forest at home in the FA Cup as I actually went :P

To think I've made pretty much every game yet missed Palace at home and Norwich away lol

Peltier at Cov for me personally.

Peltier at Cov. Went absolutely mental. We all left grinning thinking that is could finally be our season. Of course it all came tumbling down soon after.

Gally v Palace was special as well. What a goal.

That is what annoys me so much. vif we're shit the fans could convince me to not miss a game, the Boro game and the Hull game for example, were absolutely brilliant and I feel real pride in my club at matches like that, I don't care if the teams crap if our fans are like that, that's the kind of thing that makes me feel passionate, the unity and belief.

We can be so good and we really do make ourselves look a great club at times, but then we let ourselves down with things that have been discussed to death on here this week. I just wish we could be like we were in those games more often, I can understand that these last 10 years have been shit and Leicester are generally just major underachievers (looking at the size of our fanbase compared to others who have won more trophies etc) but why are we so positive and passionate some games then so negative and depressing the next?

Moment of the season for me will be at full time on Monday night.

No more shite for a few months!

Personally I think the performance at Southampton, we worked incredibly hard and closed them down everytime they got on the ball.

Probably our best all round performance in the season, Nugents goal being a highlight to.

When the loud mouthed chav in front of me bit into his Balti pie without checking how hot it was. The result was he spurted it all over his cheap imitation Burberry Jacket ( cream coloured ) and all down his 1960's staypress trousers. His pissed up mate laughed so he punched him and his mate punched him back. They both got thrown out. The best half time entertainment I have ever had.

A hot balti pie? I'm still waiting for one of them.

The return of Nigel. Excitment from start to finish. He will get it right.

On here, 'Martin O' Neill at Belfry' thread. "Will someone go down and look around?" "I told my wife I was going for some milk... 2 hours ago" lol lol

lol has to be this so many rumours flying around, i remember sitting here waiting for more posts to see if they were true!

As the title suggests, what is your moment of the season?

For me, it's got to be our 2nd goal at City ground, beautiful day, we were still celebrating the first goal and then Fernandes robs Wes Morgan lol in his own half and Nugent finishes it off to put us 2-0 up and send the away fans into delirium, despite a fat cvnt of a ref ruining the day, this was a

great highlight of the season - so much promise.

That one was sublime, Gallys double awesome yet a rare treat but for me Nuggets second against Watford, from where I was standiing I saw him turn and strike the ball, may have been on the volley and as I followed the ball it flew past the keeper and into the net, lovely strike to put us in frnot and the crowd went wild as the ball hit the net.

:-)
