dannyjpage Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 When does the fixture list get released? I think it came out quite early at the start of last season. For some reason i have the 14th June in the back of my mind. I cant find anything on google. But i'm sure someone on here will know.
Bluefoxtim Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/KeyDates/0,,10794,00.html June 18th - 9am
dannyjpage Posted 8 May 2012 Author Posted 8 May 2012 Your a star Thank you Its now in my diary. I try and make sure i take annual leave from work for all the away games.
adam1 Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 And also a note to the mods: a fixture list is not protected by copyright. Therefore it can be published on this site.
Dan Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 That really isn't that far away. I assume the League Cup draw will be on the same day? Always look forward to this day for whatever reason, I know you know what games you'll have but I guess it's the case of when, and the fact you can plan for the season ahead. I heard that this year, our opening game is actually going to be the League Cup first round due to the season kicking off later? This year I hope for the following; - The away games at Bristol City, Blackpool, Charlton, Palace, Birmingham (if they stay), Derby, Forest, Sheff Weds, Barnsley, Hull (If it's Saturday 3pm we'll take loads again), Blackburn, and all the other NW games to be Saturday 3pm's, really not arsed about the rest. - Forest at home to be a Saturday 3pm. - The dull, shit aways like Middlesbrough to be midweek. - Not a single game on a Sunday or Monday (although that'll never happen). To be fair there's actually more good aways than shit next season, in terms of aways we'll be losing from this season, Reading, Southampton, Coventry and Doncaster won't be missed (although I had a good night at Saints in fairness), Portsmouth's a bit of a loss although even that's never lived up to expectations, yet we gain Charlton, Sheff Weds, potentially Sheff Utd too, Blackburn, Wolves and potentially get QPR back, and Bolton wouldn't be horrendous seeing as we've not been there in years. Watch MK come up and ruin it.
cc_star Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 Looking forward to Hillsborough... But mainly looking forward to hopefully having more money than last season so I can get to more games
LcFc_Smiv Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 If Sheff Utd come up then I'm hoping for both Sheff away games to be in my term time and no later than April, other than that not to bothered about when games are.
Lamby Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 We can't play any games at home until the Paralympics are over in September...feel sorry for us! Also, Carling Cup 1st Round is the first game of the season...note this!

Simmo86 Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 MK Dons have a really nice stadium tbf, rather that than Huddersfield/Stevenage/Sheff Utd Wash your mouth out!
HEGGSY Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 TLF really? Another Identikit ground, much like ours, in which a fake football team plays in, as oppose to a good old fashioned ground like Stevenages or a decent ground like Sheff Utds. Really?

I've been a few times, its an identical ground, but its different. terrace in the middle so you can still watch the game, nice seats, nice area... yeah I do prefer it to Sheff Utd and Stevenage
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 Each to their own, but for me, I'd be at Sheff Utd, Stevenage and Hudds way way before I went to FC Plastic

ScouseFox Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 I'd just quite like any away anywhere near my house to be at a normal facking time. Last year we had Blackpool, Burnley, Birmingham, Coventry, Derby and Leeds all away from 3pm. That's literally every away near the North West. I could probably have still got to Leeds but it cost like 9 million quid so be arsed. Wolves, Blackburn, Sheff Wed and probably Bolton all joining our division is good for us round here too. Until they're on Wednesdays or on Monday nights or something daft.
Hitesh Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 So its Leeds or Ipswich on Boxing Day, standard! Some key dates below btw: June 18th - Fixtures released - 9am August 18th - Season Start (see link) February 24th - League Cup Final (Wembley Stadium) May 18th npower League 2 Play-Off final - Wembley 19th npower League 1 Play-Off final - Wembley 27th npower Championship Play-Off final - Wembley
HEGGSY Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 The season starts nearly 2 weeks later than the one just gone.
Voll Blau Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 MK Dons have a really nice stadium tbf, rather that than Huddersfield/Stevenage/Sheff Utd Yeah, padded seats and mongtacular home fans are the main two things I look for in an good awayday...
Basingstoke Fox Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 Lost too many Southern games this season! Hope QPR come down and Stevenage go up.
Leicesterpool Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 First away day: Middlesbrough (get the longest trip out of the way) League cup first round: away to Fleetwood Last away day: Burnley (very nice little town, great place to have a night out!) also maybe birmingham away midweek
