I enjoyed it for what it was but the accents were a bit of a struggle

I even do appreciate a crappy monster film/series, but this one just did not click for me sadly.

I love the first 3 Alien movies so was hoping this would be a good addition to the story unfortunately I didn’t enjoy it at all, it did have a few good moments however I found it ridiculous at times with very few likeable characters.
Although I will be watching the next series hoping it improves.

Yes well worth watching. Even if you're not familiar with the Alien franchise it's still good.

Cheers lads, really like the films and it looks a good cast so I'll give it a watch

It's definitely marmite-y so you may well feel the same as @Mark 'expert' Lawrenson about it. It does take a few... liberties with the canon of the films but then so did Prometheus and Covenant; whether any of them are for good or ill is up for discussion. Some of the characters aren't likeable at all but there's also some great performances especially from Ade Edmonson, Babou Ceesay, Alex Lawther and Timothy Olyphant. Some great world building too. Worth trying out. Can't wait for season 2.

Lovely.. think i've watched 3 aswell. Some 'odd' scenes with the Queen LOL. But am enjoying it so far. Have added the Movie you mentioned also to playlist.

Just curious if you are still watching it and your thoughts on it?

I am just about finished the second season.

I got a bit way laid since new season of Mobland and American Horror story got released. I am enjoying it so far though, its picked up for sure since the twins are now adults.. I think i have 1 or 2 episodes of season 1 still to watch still. Will continue tonight just as soon as Arsenal hopefully destroy Forest.

Ted Lasso S4

It's become a little more predictable nowadays with regards to plot and emotional beats, but it's still great feel good TV that will put a smile on your face.

I wonder how much further they can take it though.

League 1?

I am bad for always reading reviews on things and I do understand the criticism of it and that there's a bit of a drop off after the first season.

But...I am enjoying it.
