Parkes and Bolger - 1st team material?

From what I've heard Tom Parkes is a better prospect than Bolger. But both could form a proper partnership in the future potentially. I've watched Parkes a couple of times and been impressed both times but don't think they will be next season. Perhaps as back up...

I would like to see some youth prospects get the chance with the 1st team if they are good enough. Apart from Schlupp I cant remember many getting a decent run in the team since Heskey.

Won't hurt anyone again if they join for another half season/full season, in my opinion. Depends on the defensive circumstances at Leicester though, I mean, they could end up becoming back up/squad players if Mills and/or Bamba leaves, and we don't bring in any replacements.

Not good enough for a team that wants to be promoted. Both could cut it comfortably in league football with Rovers, maybe even a bit higher, but not top end Championship or PL yet. Neither are getting any younger either.

That said, Bolger has improved a lot since his first spell at Rovers. If he continues to improve then he could be a squad player. Only seen Parkes once and he got sent off after half an hour. Can't really comment on anything bar his ridiculously bad challenge.

Forgot about Porter! I've always thought he might still be here if he hadn't got the knee injury vs Chelsea. Shame, always seemed a bright spark in our team during the gloomy days.

I've actually never been impressed with Parkes myself. Admittedly judging him on very little but I'm not convinced.
