Brainy Posted 9 August 2013 Posted 9 August 2013 2-1 down after the away leg at Man Utd, somehow 1-4 on agg. after 75mins and playing with 10 men. score 3 times in 7mins to make it 3-2 then nothing happens for the rest of the game. Good trolling
Brainy Posted 9 August 2013 Posted 9 August 2013 Incredible final day of the season. Just watched Mlada Boleslav beat Banik to make it very interesting. Both of them have very winnable home games, I host Slavia Prague.
Brainy Posted 9 August 2013 Posted 9 August 2013 3 the last time I checked, 1 into group stages and 2 into the qualifiers. Not sure whether EC means European Cup or European Competition in general
Brainy Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 In that case since the top 3 get ECC and 4th and below get EC, we were all guaranteed atleast EC football but not ECC cause I could still finish 4th (yeah right) Banik 1pt from final 2 games to lose the title by 3pts
Dan Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Got to say I'm surprised you get 3 'Champions' League spots if you're in Czech Republic, has it really grown as a league or something? I got bored at Leicester, done it all before, finally starting as OGC Nice.
Brainy Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 6th best division in the rankings behind the obvious EPL, La Liga, Seria A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga Did notice a CL round last season with the results: Sparta Prague 4-1 Real Madrid Slavia Prague 2-1 Bayern Mlada Boleslav 5-1 Porto (CL holders) First time literally ever i've had a player ask about leaving for big club. Looking at his stats don't say I blame him
Brainy Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 I was drawn at home to Slovacko in the FA Cup Semi Final 1st leg before it was rearranged because it clashed with the 2nd leg? so now my 2nd leg away from home is my first of the two games between them
Brainy Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 1st KO: Juventus 3-3 (won on away goals) QF: Porto 3-0 Spartak Moscow 6-4 First CL final with Sparta and my players decided not to turn up. Had to do some insane squad rotation since the FA liked to move my games the weekend before my CL games to the Monday. Nice to get there but gutted we played utter shite Now after all i've done for the club the board have decided to build an 87500 seater stadium, ditching the one named after myself and calling the new one Kadlec Stadium
morris1234 Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 What's the easiest and quickest way to post a few cheeky screenshots of my 3 season invincibles!?
The Horse's Mouth Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 With Nice, I brought a shit load of loans in. Think I got the job in my second season, jumped to them because I feared that Elche was going to sack me. St Eitenne rescued me though.
Dan Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Got sacked in 19th just a complete cock up from start to finish. Dreadful.
munf1987 Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Just managed to win the Prem with Southampton in the 5th Season. Prob one of my greatest achievements to date. I'm not one to get past the 3rd season normally. Just been given 65m to spend on transfers, but i was tempted to accept the challenge of another title win with the 95m budget but i can't see it happening. Been offered the Man U, Arsenal, Spurs and PSG jobs but going to see this one through with 5 star potential throghout the youth
Dan Posted 13 August 2013 Posted 13 August 2013 Class that, fair play. I'm turd at this game to be honest. I've ran out of ideas and despite my poor performances at Nice & Leicester, I'm going to try this, simply to see how long it takes me before I get bored/make any progress. Can't help but feel it's one of those where it's almost like dominos, once you've won one (Europe being the first) you'll have enough of a reputation to land pretty much any top job in any of the continents. I don't expect to come close to completing it but I fancy a go.
Dan Posted 13 August 2013 Posted 13 August 2013 How did you do? To be honest I'll be happy to make the Football League
The Horse's Mouth Posted 13 August 2013 Posted 13 August 2013 When I say did, I mean attempted it. I think I done Africa,Asia and South America. I was at Udinese I think but it was getting too stressful and I raged it. Must admit, I would be intrigued to see how I do on the latest one.
Finnegan Posted 13 August 2013 Posted 13 August 2013 It isn't that easy. You have to start with a proper shit team because you have a Sunday league reputation so you end up doing something like Asia or Africa first and you don't really get that much reputation for winning there. Certainly not enough to walk in to a Santos or Barcelona.
Dan Posted 13 August 2013 Posted 13 August 2013 I'm Hayes & Yeading, indifferent start but I intend to be patient. If I work my way up England (which is doable) I'll have a very decent reputation.
munf1987 Posted 13 August 2013 Posted 13 August 2013 good luck with the challenge. Closest save i've ever done was started with Shaktar to Zenit, then Juve before switching to Inter and then Barcalona. Winning the league in each country before moving on. The Juve team was aging and when i was offered the Inter job after a few months of being at Juve, i just couldn't turn it down. Found it hard to leave Inter as i was destorying the league but Barca came up then i stayed there winning the league something like 5 seasons in a row with cups everywhere. This was on FM11. I noticed FM12 was still installed, had a quick look thinking the save above was on FM12 but it wasn't. I did however manage to build a class Spurs team. Winning a handful of prem titles and was in the year 2020.
MPH Posted 14 August 2013 Posted 14 August 2013 Tactically I think I am a bit of a Nigel Pearson on FM2013 ( struggling to find the head-butt option when interacting with players, though...)
